Great foundation

I own a foundation from Napoleon Perdis ($65) and Makeup Store ($60), and I prefer to use my $30 10 Hour Sleep Effect foundation from Bourjois over the both of them!

It has an amazing scent and a lovely dewy look. I have pigmented skin from a few pimple scars and this gives me great coverage. More so than my Makeup Store foundation that's for sure!!

I often feel obligated to use my other foundations because they were so expensive but I ALWAYS mix in a bit of my Bourjois foundation in with it.

I'll repurchase again for sure.

Ok.

I like the packaging and its gorgeous scent but it isn't really suited to my skin (combination) .. It made my skin oilier and the makeup started disappearing within a couple of hours. When you first wear it, it's very dewy and looks great but does not provide long-wear coverage. Perhaps it would be better suited to dry skin types.

Good!

This is very easy to apply and blend, has a pleasant but not too strong fragrance and I found the colour very appealing. But this is not for people with oily skin because it does leave a sheen on the skin and would look shiny on oily skin. This foundation certainly doesn't last all day but if you're happy to reapply at lunch, you'll be happy with it. The coverage was medium.

My fav foundation

I have tried many foundations but this is definitely the one for me! I have finally found the right combination of this and a pressed powder by Covergirl.

The foundation is light but provides enough coverage. I have light-medium skin and the #71 colour is great for coverage of blemishes, discolouration and under the eyes. Wears well and doesn't clog up your skin.

Dry , mature skin...

I had brought this in the lightest shade when I left my face at home and needed sum emergencie stock.
. It was way to light for work ,where I usually hav a full face of thick make up ,but took it on holidays where I found it was more of a skin brightening face cream.
After a week my skin seemed brighter and way radiant . My skin really seemed to react well to not being drowned in foundation .

Quite good

I only bought this once as i found it a bit pricey for what it does. its a very light coverage but does give a slightly deewy effect. the best thing about it is the AMAZING smell!!

LOVE THIS

It gave me a dewy effect. I have dry skion and this made my skin look hydrated and soft. I read on another makeup review site that chanel is the parent company of bourjois and i can definitely see this. I have chanel's vitalumiere and it is definitely comparable (although not nearly as awesome). I have pale skin and used the lightest shade of this foundation and it matched extremely well. However, in saying this, the downfall of this brand is that they do not offer a wide range of products which i could see as a problem for darker skin or women with a more olive complexion.

More of a tinted moisuriser

Just got this last month. My best friend is a model with flawless creamy magazine skin and she uses it religiously- it makes her look even more amazing.

So I got it, hoping to look like her. Not quite but still had a nice creamy result. I can't seem to find a shade in any foundation that is light enough and not orange (my pale winter skin).

Overall it's a lovely product like all bourgois make up is and I'll probably keep trying it once the weather is warmer and I'm a little more 'alive-looking' as I feel it had massive potential!

On the fence.

So I wouldn't really call this foundation a foundation, its more of a tinted moisturiser to me, its coverage is below light. Its also really dewy and I have dry skin but still have to wear a powder with it. I think it gave me that ghost white face effect in photos.

Good coverage

I purchased this product for myself but found that the lightest colour was too dark for me. My mother now has the product and she loves the way it makes her skin look alive and fresh. If it was in a lighter colour this would be my foundation of choice.

Soft and silky

This really made my face feel soft and silky. It made it look younger and quite dewy. However it made my skin feel really oily a few hours after wearing and I came out in pimples the next day. I won't use this product again as I find it very clogging.

Great foundation

A great foundation with good coverage. It feels quite light, but is able to cover the spots and scars. It does last long on my skin aswell.

Dewy and Radiant

I personally love this product. It has a runny and sheer texture which I personally love as it feels very lightweight on my skin similar to a tinted moisturizer. It gives a lovely radiant shine and gives the dewy, radiant finish as opposed to the matte no shine finish. I use this foundation for the winter when my skin is dull and needs a radiant hydrated look. I would not recommend using this in the Summer as it tends to look oily, and I do not recommend this to anyone with very oily skin regardless of the season. The colour selection is quite reasonable and I happened to find a colour which matches my colour perfectly. Bourjois can be quite expensive but is regularly on sale especially in Priceline, I happened to but mine for half price there. The foundation gives a light to medium coverage as it is so sheer, so you might need concealer. Always set with a light dusting of powder to set this liquid as it is very watery and can easily shift on your skin. Overall, lovely silky lightweight texture, light to medium coverage, okay price and not for oily skin types.

10hr Sleep Effect

This foundation was an excellent match for my skin. It is a runny liquid, and is very sheer, so can't be used to cover blemishes. I had no problems with its lasting power, but it doesn't set very well without powder (stays wet). Overall, an excellent foundation for glowing skin and sheer coverage on those days you're happy with your skin.

fresh & dewy

i love using this foundation as it delivers light coverage and a fresh and dewy complexion. its a joy to use, it blends effortlessly, smells gorgeous and the pump is convenient. i only use this when my face is clear and i want my skin to look radiant. i think this would be fantastic for dry skin types as the fluid is quite moisturising. i have combination skin so i just set this with powder around my t-zone.

it won't stand up to sweat or a hard days work but is perfect if you just want to duck out for a short while and want your skin to look healthy and fresh. imo i would stear clear of this if you require high coverage for blemishes and/or quite oily as the sheen in this would accentuate it.

i'm an nc20-25more pink than yellow toned and 72 rose clair is a gorgeous match.

Borjois 10 hour sleep effect foundation

The average amount of sleep I get is about six hours, sometimes less, but never more. Since I am always sleep deprived I have to purchase make-up that: Makes my skin look radiant, hides the signs of fatigue by concealing dark circles and gives the illusion I have had a good nights sleep. Finding a foundation that does all this, hasn’t always been easy until I discovered the 10 hour sleep effect by Bourjois.... i highly recomend this product...

Quite nice!

This is a nice light coverage foundation! It goes on smoothly, is easy to blend and is very moisturising. It really does brighten up my skin after a night out. It leaves a very dewy finish so I have to use powder to set it.

The bad things about this foundation is after roughly 2 hours it starts to feel abit heavy on my cheeks and there are not enough colours! I could not get a good colour match :(

Not for those who tend to get oily

I have combo skin, very dry cheeks but oily t-zone. This made my whole face very very shiney within minutes of putting it on and then downright greasy by midday. not good. also got a break out from it.. oh well just not for me. colour was good though!

Gorgeous foundation

I bought this on impulse .. and the other reviews and Im definitely not disappointed.
The formula is pretty watery not so much as it runs off your hand but I tried using a sponge and it was immediately soaked up so I used a foundation brush to apply and it went on so well, it smells fantastic and because it is a thin formula I only used 1 pump and it covered my whole face without being too sheer.

The formula is hydrating with a semi matte finish and very natural looking, I am sooo happy with this foundation because the pump nozzle makes it easy to use, the formula is blendable and buildable, its a very non fuss application and great for work because I dont like to wear alot of foundation and this is definitely breathable.

Best.

I think it's the best foundation I've ever used- lightweight, fresh, smoothes the skin and brightens it! I love its texture and the smell, it's so refreshing! Definitely give it a go, and it's definitely worth it's price :)

I LOVE IT

i love this foundation!!!! soo silky smooth when its applied to my face ( i apply it everywhere on my face!). love the fact that it is runny-ish cos its so quick and easy to apply (although some may say its abit too runny) and no signs of cakeness! i honestly fell in love with ALL of bourjois foundation scent, packaging, coverage etc, its light and smells so young.. haha i dont kno if thats the right word to describe it, but you gotta try it and smell it for yourself. i personally dislike the smells of most liquid foundations when it is sitting on my face, maybe because i have a dog's nose, i really cant stand that typical foundation smell, im not sure if its the sunscreen they put in there or the ingredients, but bourjois made this foundation so well.. ALLL TICKS FOR: coverage, evened out my skin tones, light packaging makes it handy for on the go, my skin can breath, smells nice, quick application... just love it!

Flawless Finish

This foundation is amazingly light-weight, and is very easy to dispense as it come in a no-mess no-fuss packaging. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Bourjois carried fairly darker shades and the didn't appear ashy as they had a yellow based tone to them rather than most darker foundation that have a pink base tone ... The foundation is very light weight so it is fantastic for everyday use. When you apply it, if feels like your just have moisturizer on, there is no cakey or stuffy feeling (pores clogged up ...etc). I did find that it did brighten the skin a little, giving it a just woken up look but the best thing of all was that it didn't turn only throughout the day like most liquid makeup.... I would highly recommend ladies with darker or lighter skin tones who just want sheer cover (to even up skin tone colour) to try this amazing product... you wont regret your purchase! :)

Fresh Face

Instantly wakes up the skin, making it look so much more vibrant and fresh. It is easy to apply, with a nice sheer coverage. If you want to cover blemishes, this product is probably not for you.

Fantastic for a big night out. Leaves my skin looking rejuvinated=)

Not the best for a long hard day at work though as it doesn't last as long as I would like and I do not like to reapply throughout the day.

My First Foundation

I'm on 2nd bottle and I love it. It's the first foundation that matches my skintone perfectly, leaves it feeling soft and just nice. I have it in #73 Beige Clair. It is very watery and you have to be careful when pumping out so that you won't have any spilling. Overall, it's a nice convenient no-fuss pump bottle. It is super blendable and its buildability is good too.

Lightweight Foundation

This is a very sheer & lightweight product. It evens out skin tone & refreshes the look of your skin, but if you don't have a clear complexion to start with or want a thicker coverage - I'd try something else. I will happily finish the bottle I have of this product (comes with a compact pump style application & cap cover) but I'm glad I didn't purchase this at full price & nor would I do so in future. I'd recommend giving it a try if you can find it at reduced price. Didn't break me out or cause any skin reaction.

BIG NIGHT OUT

I was in brisbane for the weekend and let me say i had a huge night out. My friend and i were shopping and we came across this product so i thought anything that could make me look refreshed would be worth a go. I found this product excellent. It was light weight and yes it did conceal the dark rings from lack of sleep. I now wear this product all the time and it is well worth the money

Pretty good foundation!

The name of this foundation speaks for itself! I like the coverage of this foundation and once applied, it end up with a natural flawless face. Its not too thick and the scent is beautiful!

Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation

This is the only liquid I use if I'm not using the fantastic I.D Bareminerals. It is so sheer and you can layer it on blemishes and shadows. Love love love

10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation

This foundation is pretty good, it washes off easily when you go to bed, it makes your skin feel soft instead of oily. The only problem i had with this product is that it didnt last that long so i had to re-apply it during the day.

Fabulous Bourjois

This non-clogging foundation, provides a dewy glow to skin for a minimum of 10 hours. No need to touch ups and leaves flawless coverage.
