Hot tip of the week: always keep a compact close

It seems simple enough, but if you’re stuck out and about and suddenly notice the sheen on your forehead, or the blemish that’s just appeared, there isn’t a whole lot you can do about it when you’re sans a powder compact.
Which is why it’s imperative to have something on you at all times that will sort out your uneven skin tone - pronto. (I’m talking one in every handbag people!)
A simple touch up with a foundation or powder compact will have you free of any patchy, uneven skin and elevate your complexion perfection confidence straight back up to where it should be.

I can't agree more. I carry a powder compact all the time and find it the most essential beauty item to get me through the day. As I prefer to use a brush to touch up I bought a retractible powder brush as well. Have not tried the Ultraceucils Compact but will check it out.

Compact powders are the best! Great for touch ups, sheer to medium coverage, easy to use and apply, less hassle compared with liquid foundation- totally love it!

A classic case of 'just heading to the ladies' to 'powder my nose'...

i never carry make-up with me either but its a good idea and i should start....I remember when my mum was around that if she went out and did have make-up on she always had a compact....but when you think back even in old movies you always saw a lady taking out her compact and touching up her make-up or lip stick....and often these compacts would be very ornate....I think that maybe there should be a new look into compacts and perhaps getting some really nice compacts back into style....wonder if others think the same!!!!!!!

I've never found a powder compact I have really liked and can't wait to try the Ultraceutical one - I love their skincare!

I think blotting the shine before applying powder gives it a nicer finish

Best mineral powder I've found, gets rid of the red and does not dry out my skin - love it

I always, always, always have a compact of powder with me! I hate the shine you get after a few hours, especially if it's hot weather and touching it up just gives you the confidence that you make-up looks good again.

compact powders are great, but if you have really oily skin don't forget to blot as well other wise it will just cake up on your skin! :)

Sadly I only sometimes carry a compact with me and it is the times when I don't carry one when I really need to use one!

I'm too scared to bring compact powder with me to school because I don't want it to break.

I keep a make up bag with a compact, brush, lipgloss, lipbalm and mascara. They're for reapplying. Also, it's great to keep a small stick-type perfume to smell great all day instead of losing the smell.
