True translucent, great for covering shine.

The difficult thing about finding a setting powder is that often translucent powders are not actually truly translucent but they have a slight tint to them, for most people wouldn't be a problem, but for pale skin is a huge one. This is truly translucent and is practically undetectable on the skin.

Tips

It eliminates any shine effectively which is the main reason I use this. Could last a little longer though.

Great for setting, but not for flash photography

I like this product to set my makeup when i don't have a busy day. I have very oily skin, and i prefer other powders to keep the oil's at bay. However this is great for a quick fix during the day and as a last step to set your foundation.
This will leave a white-cast in flash photography, and the packaging is not very travel friendly. But still a good, cheap powder nonetheless

pretty average

I used to use this whenever I wore make up in school so I decided to give this a try again.. 5 years on (same as the primer). When I used to use it, I remember it didn't help with my oily skin, my face would be shiny half way through the day.

I used it again recently and found that it does 'set' my make up but again, it doesn't help with the oil control unfortunately. It also make me look like a geisha in picture so I think I'll stick to skin tone finishing matte powders.

Every Day Use - AMAZING

I cannot begin to describe how much I love this product. After putting on my foundation I lightly dab in onto my face using a kabuki brush and then buff my smash box halo hydrating powder over the top in circular motions. It keeps the shine away and sets my foundation perfectly!

Tips

Don't use too much - can clog your pores and make you breakout.

Ideal for

Oily skin. Anyone looking for a matte finish.

Perfect!

I wanted a finishing powder to set my makeup and reduce the oilyness i experience throughout the day. I was a little bit scared about this product because it is white, and i've only ever used powders that were skin tone coloured. I have to say i am pretty impressed by this product considering the price. You don't really need much. I just swish my brush around in the lid and then lightly dust it on my face to take the shine away. Works wonders! It doesn't accentuate dry patches or pimples either!

Easy setting powder, feels soft but gives back flash

Who doesn't love a good setting powder?
It's soft and smooth and sets your foundation well.
I recommend you do not wear this if you are planning on taking a lot of flash pictures....
I even use this sometimes to blend my eyeshadows.
One thing that I found is that if you have applied this and then you get a mascara dot somewhere it is really hard to remove!

Tips

Buff it in and don't use flash

Ideal for

Everyday everywhere.

Amazing product that works every time

At this current moment I have repurchased this product eight times. If that is not an indication of a product I love, I don't know what is. Not only is this product easy to use and a great price but it simply works wonders on setting make-up to a flawless finish that won't budge throughout the day. Due to it's translucency it doesn't leave any white flashback when your photo is being taken with a flash and it won't leave you looking cakey. I have been able to use this when my skin is oily and dry and I have found that as long as you know what condition your skin is in, you can get the finish you are looking for. I would recommend for everyone of all skin types and shades to try out this amazingly cheap powder, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Tips

The easiest way to use this powder is, whilst closed, tap the product down when full so you don't get a puff of dust. Then using a powder brush, lightly dip it into the powder and place into the lid. Swirl your brush in the lid to coat the bristles and tap off the excess before applying. If you have dry skin use only a small amount to set your base so that it doesn't break up throughout the day.

Ideal for

Oily to dry skin.

Alright product

This product was pretty good for me. It did give my face a white cast which especially showed up in photos with flash. It has to be buffed into the skin really well for it to work well. My gripe is that the lid on mine has somehow managed to get so stuck that it is IMPOSSIBLE to remove again and I had to throw it away, barely used :(
