easy use

its not heavy and cakey and provides the right amount of coverage to hide shininess. so easy to carry around especially with the mirror and sponge included.

Okay, but expected more from MAC

I LOVE MAC, which may have been the problem here, I have way too high expectations!!
It gives a light powder coverage, and looks very natural and is gets rid of the 'shinny forehead'

however,
I don't think its worth it for the price.
I have tried many other powders that offer the same thing

Decent but not the best

I got this with the studio fluid fix foundation and I think its decent with coverage and setting my make up. Not my favourite but it works well when doing a natural look. The sponge it comes with is rubbish and i find it takes quite a long time for me to get a decent amount of the product on my brush.

its ok

I wasnt really impressed with it - i didnt notice anything to give that "wow" factor to it and esp for the price i think there are other powders available that are a little less deerer. The only other thing i can comment though is definetly the forumulation as others have said - it is definetly finely milled and gives a more natural look and or can be buildable for more coverage.

lovely soft coverage

I use this over MAC moistureblend foundation and it gives a beautiful finish without being too heavy nor cakey. A total winner and a product I'll continue to use. MAC honestly do the best powders. Ever.

For a flawless finish

This is a wonderful powder which looks particularly good over MAC foundation. It gives you a flawless finish and feels light on the skin. I highly recommend this product, particularly for evening/special occasions. As I have extremely oily skin I try not to wear it during the day however as I find like most foundations/powders it just doesn't last 9-10hrs on my skin. It is always an essential in my clutch on a night out however!

Oh how I have needed thee!

Ok so I only just realised that I need to start applying a powder after my foundation for it to stay longer on my oily skin (i know, i know, i dont know what i was thinking beforehand) and this product is so amazing i am finding it hard to put into words.
I use MACs studio fix foundation and even with a primer, found that towards the end of the day, my makeup was just sliding off. One of the girls at work told me it was a crime for me not to be using a powder to set my makeup so i gave it a try and havent looked back. For about a month now i have been using select sheer and its great! It doesnt look cakey or powdery, just gives me a beautiful finish and sets my foundation perfectly.
I would def recommend this to any ladies out there with oily/combination skin and who need their make up to stay on longer throughout the day. Trust me, you wont regret it

Essential

This is one of THE most fine milled powders I have ever tried. I use this in NC30 and it makes my skin matte, perfected and sets my concealer and foundation well. Nice amount of the product too, what more can you ask for ?! It is one of my make up bag essentials.

nice to use

i love the quality of the MAC cosmetics. this powder has a nice smooth texture and went on easily without too much effort and the colour is a perfect match!
great if you want a not so made up look for yourself if worn by itself

MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder

I find I always get value for money with MAC products and this is no exception. After applying my Studio Fix Foundation and Studio Fix Powder I finish up with a dusting of the sheer pressed powder. Sets the make up beautifully. I dropped my compact and lost half of it and I think I have still had it for almost 12 months.

Still the one I want

I love this product. It always leaves my face looking smooth and natural, not overdone. It is a bit pricey, but I havn't found another powder that works as well on my face.
