It must be love

The minute I saw this image I gathered my make-up staples and raced to the nearest mirror to try my hand at recreating the look - and let me tell you, it couldn’t be easier to achieve. Here’s how to do it:

1.) Create a flawless, creamy complexion with your favourite foundation and concealer, using an illuminating pen to eliminate any shadows from around your eyes.
2.) Sweep a light gold shadow across your eyes, blending the hue all the way up to your brow bone*.
3.) Using a black liquid liner, and working from the inner corner of each eye outwards, draw a thin line across your top lashes, flicking it gently upwards at the outer corner of each eye to create a ‘winged’ effect.
4.) Once you’re happy with the shape of this initial line, you can then keep tracing over it to increase the thickness.
5.) Finish with a slick of black mascara and touch of nude gloss on your lips.

Nail note: Recreate this uber-fab two-tone nail look by teeming your fave metallic hue with darker tips. Simply paint your entire nail with your shimmery shade then, once dry, place a paper stencil over your nail (so that only the tips are showing) and carefully apply the darker polish to the tips.

*This particular eye look was created using Chanel Ligne et Ombre de Chanel in Jet-Gold – a duo palette that contains a gold eye shadow and a black eyeliner.
