Best in Beauty 2012: A kitchy surprise!
I have this in Les Turquoise and it was an impulse buy! I adore anything cat-related (shock!), but had resisted these, thinking that $10 was too much to pay for a product I saw as cutesy makeup for 12 year olds. I first saw the les turquoise colour on an eye of the day look in the forums, and was surprised at the intense colour and shine. Being a lover of all things green and sparkly I had to buy it!
To my surprise this is a great quality shadow. It comes in a clear flip-top case, and is a little domed disc of baked colour. When I swatched this on my hand I wasn't that impressed, but when applied over a cream eyeshadow base it sprang to life in a vibrant sheen of turquoise! The shimmer is intense and mesmerising, like a mermaid's tail, and this turquoise green stays vibrant all day with no creasing or fading.

These little pots of colour really exceeded my expectations. I thought for a brand that looked like a gimmick that these cheap shadows wouldn't be any good. Boy I was wrong and just goes to show you shouldn't judge products before you try them!
These shadows are really pigmented and vibrant, I particularly love the blue and emerald colours! It's super easy to pat down colour on the lids or blend. And they are soo well priced with a lot of product for your buck! Highly recommend

Hello, .............Hello Kitty
I had never heard of this brand before joining BH
I purchased this eyeshadow yesterday for my teenager based on BH reviews
The quality is astounding for the price, highly pigmented and cute quirky packaging

To be honest I've never been too fussed on anything Hello Kitty, always thought it was a bit gimmicky, and had never tried any of the products.
Then one day I was looking for a really vibrant blue/green shadow, something really striking and shimmery and I literally stumbled upon Les Turquoise. Oh my! It looked fab in the cute little pot, precisely the shade I was seeking, and totally blew me away when I applied it with a damp brush, in fact I think it's the most stunning shadow in my kit! Lasts all day too. The colour range is fairly limited, but my next purchase will be Les Grenadine, a divine looking rosy pink.

Although I was underwhelmed by the Hello Kitty Priceline range as a whole, I was pleasantly surprised by the eyeshadows I picked up in Majorelle and Les Grenadine. Majorelle is a stunning pigmented shimmery royal-meets-navy blue, while Les Grenadine is a medium shimmery pink with the slightest hints of rose. Although I'd suggest using them over a creamy or sticky base, they're more than pigmented enough that you don't need to use them wet (side note: I HATE using eyeshadows wet and refuse to believe that you need to use baked or mineral shadows wet to get colour payoff). I like using Les Grenadine as a blush for a super glowy pink cheek :)

Cute and quality!
I love the shine to these shadows and I always hunt them down in Priceline. They do blend quite well and the fine texture makes them wearable for day or night. Also, who can resist the adorable packaging?

I have this in Desert Dore (gold), the staying power is really good in conjunction with my Natio Eye Primer, it doesn't budge or crease all day in 40 degree heat. The colour is beautiful, and compliments my olive skintone, and makes my eyes pop. The texture is extremely fine and I didn't experience any fallouts. I will be collecting all of them :)
