Good eyeshadows
I never owned one, but my mum does and every time I visit her I use her eyeshadows. The colour she's got is a mix of browns, they are all shimmery and look pretty in the pots. They look even better on the eyes. Very easy to apply and blend, seem to be creamy. And they are long lasting too ( but I always use an eyeshadow base). Very interesting colours which complete one another.

Fallen in love with a rose
Bourjois Smoky eye trio in rose vintage that is!
These colours suit my hazel eyes unbelievably well.
I start by making sure i have no products at all on my lids so the eyeshadow lasts longer. I then apply the darkest purple shade on my lid around onto my bottom lash line.
Then the middle colour, a rose comes second. I blend this slightly into the darker shade and then up towards the brow bone.
Then comes the lightest shade and i use this to highlight the corners of my eyes and slight points around my brow bone.
The end result is brilliant. I love to old school kind of colour this palette provides, it really is a vintage combination.
The colours will lasts the day through for me and dont even seem to fade.I get no panda eyes at all. At the end of the day the eyeshadow easily wipe away with a remover wipe.
The only thing i will say is that its much easier to apply the colours with a eyeshadow brush rather then the applicator that comes in the pot.
I enjoy using this so much. I would definately buy more if not for me then as a gift.

Great Smoky colours
I bought this for the black colour (my pot has silver, grey & black) and it was on special. Its great the blending with other colours and the compact is very handy.

Pretty colours for daytime - but pricey for those on a budget
I got the Rose Vintage trio as a GWP, and I have to say I really do like the colours! Being more of a neutrals colours girl, these soft and pretty pink/purple shades have won me over as a nice alternative to my usual champagne or soft brown eyelid.
The general consensus is that the pigmentation is not that great, but I really like the pigmentation as I like soft colours. I find it easy to pick up the mineral powder with an eyeshadow brush (though I notice the pigmentation's better with a sponge applicator), and the colour can be built up, though not to a huge extent.
The price is too pricey for me though - I'm glad I got it as a GWP.
The first two colours are shimmery and really pretty, while the third is more of a bruised plum sort of colour, which is more satin than shimmer. The compact is quite small (cute), and travel friendly, the sponge applicator provided won't be used much - it's so tiny it'll take forever to do the makeup!
Rose Vintage is definitely one of my current fave products at the moment!

Not as great as I hoped
I have the Gris Lilac palette and I really like the colours. It is not pigmented at all. It takes forever to build up the colour up to the shade that you want. I guess that can be a good thing (you won't over do it as easily). But I'm so used to my UD Naked Palette's level of pigmentation that this is poor in comparison. I have a hard time trying to pick the eyeshadow up with brushes. I find that it only works best with the sponge tips that came with it. Maybe it's because it is baked and too dry. I don't consider this palette to be affordable. I expected a bit more for what they are charging.

Weak pigment, but very pretty.
This smokey eye compact in pink, while it is quite translucent and therefore not for everybody, for those of us who do not care for an intense eye look this is perfect. Very good for day time wear.

Smoky Eyes for Daytime Wear
You'd definitely have to use some sort of eyeshadow base with these (I like to use MAC paint pots or something similar), but the colours are so so pretty and unique!

Not pigmented enough!!
I had been wanting to try this eyeshadow trio for ages, and finally took the plunge and bought it. I have to say that I wasn't really impressed with it, the colours were too pale and the smokey eye effect I was looking for just didn't happen. If you're looking for a more subtle smokey eye, than this eyeshadow may be for u. But if u want a stand out eye this is not the product for you.
I got this in the purple shades, and the only colour that really showed up enough was the darkest purple colour. So I think I will only use the darkest colour and mix it with some other eyeshadows I already own.

Not pigmented
I like the idea of having all 3 shades in one for your smokey eye but was a little disappointed as these shadows are not really pigmented and don't get the dramatic smokey effect you are after

Great colours
I have this set in rose vintage which is lovely for every day use. The shadows don't have a lot of pigment which has stopped me from trying the grey shades for a dramatic night look. I can build up the colour by using it with my Napoleon magic water but the colour isn't creaseless unfortunately. It's a good idea to use a good primer on the eye area or even loose powder to stop oily eyelids allowing the makeup to stay put.
