Shade - Beautiful Iris

I have brown eyes, light/medium skin with yellow base, and brown hair with blonde highlights. This is the ideal shade for me, not just because it suits my colouring, but it's a gorgeous uplifting colour! Needs pink shades in blusher & lip color to harmonise. This eye shadow wears extremely well. Doesnt shift or change color on the skin. Excellent! ..and no irritation or flaking into eyes. Good for contact lens wearers like me.

matte2 is the best formula

I know everyone loves these shadows, but I really only like the Matte2 formula. They are creamy, blendable and highly pigmented (unlike the regular mattes). Even so, they do not compare to matte shadows from, say, Make Up For Ever. The velvet formula can be hard to work with and the lustre has heaps of fallout. I don't think MAC do very good purples, and I love purple shadow. They have a few unique shades but I just don't think they're all they're cracked up to be - there are better products for the inflated price we pay here in AU.

Long Lasting Brilliant Colours

From natural to bright and happy or dark and sultry, MAC eye shadow range is by far the BEST eye shadow product I've ever used. I have very smooth skin on my eye lids and have often had trouble trying to get eye make-up to stay on. Without any undercover product required, MAC eye shadow stays on all day and gives excellent even coverage. Available in a huge selection of colours and tones, it's money well spent. I wouldn't bother with any other product. TIPS? - Watch out for rip-off versions. Only buy from a trusted retail outlets and if you're not sure which colours to start with, the girls behind the counter will be able to point you in the right direction. I've always been nervous going in for a consult because normally it turns into something horrible but they did a great job and it's the first time I've actually run out of eye shadow and had to go back for more!

Really nice eye shadows :)

I have 12 of them and I really enjoy them, my mac shadows and my too faced shadow palette are the only shadows I use, while its really $$$ Its worth the investment, I have two of the matte finish ones and I'm not too hyper over them but I still enjoy using them, I feel like I really need to pack on the matte colours but I dont have a problem with that :) I suggest investing in 3-4 colours for an every day look you can wear a lot and get your money's worth out them :D

Look no further

For highly pigmented eyeshadows and excellent choice of matt shades, MAC eyeshadows are my favourite. Especially for the blues, greens and purples, where ordinary brands fail due to the dry, flaky and coarse texture, MAC shadows deliver! They cost a bit more, but last for a long time! I love that even with the darker shades you can go as subtle or as dramatic as you want as they blend exceptionally well. They also last all day with no retouching required.

Only bad point is the price

MAC eyeshadows stay on all day which is great as I hate having to do touch ups.

Also, it is available in all the colours of the rainbow.

It is easy to apply and doesnt drizzle much.

Worth the investment for colours you use a lot

The best eye shadows of all time.

By far, worth the price I paid. the most expensive eye shadows I have ever bought but they last for ages and are amazing. Silky smooth texture, vibrant colours that pop so you don't have to apply lots of powder for an amazing look. The shadow stays in place all day without rubbing off too much or collecting in the creases.

Love it

The colour selection is endless and the texture is buttery, good pigmentation, easy to apply and long-lasting. While it's a pity we have to pay more than double the price than in US, MAC is definitely one of my fav brands for eyeshadow.

great colour range but not long lasting

I own about five MAC eyeshadows. I love each colour, they are all buttery soft, very blendable and easy to work with. However, they do not last even a few hours on me. If they lasted all day, or even 8 hours they would be perfect.

Very nice

I love the few that I have. Jest makes a lovely everyday colour and Omega is my go-to brow colour. The texture is lovely and they are highly pigmented (which is what you would hope for the price). I wish the price over here was not so inflated though.
