How to: achieve brow wow

When conducting a short, last minute survey around the office and my house about which make-up step people would forgo if they were forced to – a shockingly high number said the brows would be the most likely to lose out.
I was so shocked I had to pick my jaw up from the floor. I mean, surely our eye framers should get a little loving? The answer is yes my beauties, they definitely should.
The colour and shape of your brows can change the way your whole face looks. Ever noticed your brows were a little ungroomed and unruly, and your make-up sort of matched? It’s not a coincidence; unmanicured brows have the ability to make your whole face look out of whack. (Not cool.)
To ensure you don’t suffer this fate, be sure to keep your Benefit Brows-a-go-go handy. This incredible
all-in-one brow manicurist features tweezers to get at those stray hairs, two different brow powder shades, eye highlighters, a brow wax and all the tools you’ll need to groom!
To use:
- Simply tweeze away strays.
- Next, use the tinted wax to shape your brows (this is your chance to make them look polished).
- Then, choose a brow powder that matches your shade most and fill in the brow to make them look tinted.
- To finish, take to your brow bone with the pink highlighting powder to make your brows really stand out.

The look to love when it comes to brows is Camilla Belle-style big, bold and polished – so do not attempt to leave the house without tending to your eye framers – forgo your lippy instead! (I’m only kidding – one should never forgo a great lipstick.)

I'm very brow obsessed so thank you for this article! I've visited a Benefit brow bar on a few occassions now and they have made a significant difference to my brows. They were a little on the thin side and now have a nice shape and are a little thicker. My favorite Brow liner would have to be Clinique's fine brow pencil in soft brown. Mirenesse has a fantastic brow gel which disguises any sparse spots and thickens and grooms the brows at the same time. I'd love to try one of the kits suggested in the article.

I just tweezer mine with Manicare tweezers! Sometimes, I'll use a little brown shadow to fill them in. Looks like these tips will come in handy! Thanks, Liv and Beauty Obs. : )

I had my brows done a few times by a pro and now all i really do to keep the shape is keep any growth outside of the shape they should be under control. I use to be pretty tweezer crazy but im a bit better now :) like them how they are for my face - not too thin and not too thick

I had brow wow fever when I was about 17 or 18 and have never looked back! I knew the shape I liked and paid a professional to help me achieve something that would suit me that ran along the lines of what I liked. I've kept them maintained pretty much until now (bar a few new mum & baby years of neglect in between). I'm back on track now though!

I keep my eyebrows maintained by getting them waxed. I've never actually coloured them in or used a shaping wax on them. I never really knew how to but thanks for the tips Liv :)

I also completely swear by threading, I can't go out without my brows shaped and propely groomed.

I go to a salon for threading once in a while and then later tweeze myself to mane my brows with my manicare tweezer to save both time and money.

I hate having to do my eyebrows, they are generally very neglected. After reading this i have decided to have a good look at them this weekend and do some serious work!

I tweeze mine but last night I got my sister to wax them for me funnily enough. I would love to try out the Benefit Brows a go go.

I love perfect eyebrows, but mine are a mess at the moment because I am trying to grow them out. I spent months doing it once already and then a beautician waxed them back into oblivion again! Not happy. :-(

I get my eyebrows waxed every three weeks by a brow queen in Melbourne.
I also use a bit of hairspray and brow brush to keep my brows tidy and that helps the growth stay smooth.

I've never had my eyebrows professionally done, I always just do them myself and I'm pretty happy with it. I'd love to give Benefit's 'Brows-a-go-go' or even their 'Brow Zings' a try though! As my eyebrow hairs are thin and I need to fill them in everyday

My brows are fine and fair so adding brows (like this article shows) is my No1 chore! Would love to try the Jane Iredale kit, the Benefit one here looks great too.

I love eyebrows and never have a hair out of place. I love to use tweezers and then I fill in and shape with Clarins Brow Kit, very similar to Benefits. I even do all the girls at work's brows, my sisters, it's just so fun and it's awesome practice. Groomed brows really finish off a look!

I have been slowly changing the shape of mine because they were a little thin. I don't seem to be able to pull of the arch eyebrow so have reverted back to the rounded eyebrow instead. Maybe the arch only suits certain people? I've never tried Benefit's Brow's a-go-go but it looks really cool and easy to use :)

OH I couldn't agree more Olivia - I love having my brows looking great - I would definitely forgo lip colour if it meant that I had time to do my brows. I keep mine in tip-top shape by plucking the stray hairs every few days - very cautiously though I might add. I also use a brow pencil and brush to fill in the sparse areas and to make them neater.
Oh and I love Camilla Belle-style brows too - I much prefer bold and polished to very thin-pencil like. Would love to try Benefit Brows a go-go or any other brow products, but the Benefit one looks fab!

Almost every night I'm plucking at those pesky little black hairs that keep growing back where they don't belong. I also use a brow powder or shadow and apply it to my brows with an angled brush by gently stroking along my brow line to give natural definition and to fill any gaps. I'm lucky though that my dark brows are pretty good and If I keep them tinted I really don't HAVE to do anything to them.

I do get obsessed with tweezing and occasionally add a little bit of colour. Brows really make all the difference so I think I might spend a little more time on them now.

I don't think I have brow wow actually. I have finally got them to a good size after an over tweeze! here is a tip-never tweeze when you are stressed! But I have wanted to try a brow powder. Thanks for the tips!
