Just had to shout about: mineral illuminators

Every now and then a product lands in your life like a falling piano – unexpectedly and with a bang. This happened to me just the other day when, as I was peering at myself in my desk-side mirror and sighing the kind of sigh only people with dull complexions can muster, a package from our friends at Face of Australia was delivered to me – and my mood suddenly turned right around.
Inside I found four of the most gorgeously gleamy tubes I’ve ever seen in my life. They were Face of Australia’s new Mineral Therapy Illuminators. I took to my skin at once. Watch my video to find out why I am so carried away with these newbies that I’m practically panting as I type…
How would you use your mineral illuminator?

I place illuminator in pretty typical places: the cupid's bow, below the arch of my brows, the temples, and my collar bones and shins of my legs.

I have an illuminator some where in my make up bag and Liv you've just convinced me to use it again...however it might have expired so I wouldn't mind trying this Australis one.

Ohh this looks awesome!! Wonder if it depends what skin tone you are or if the darker ones should be used on darker skin tones?

I am absolutely in love with these illuminators! I use the darker colour for contouring, lighter ones as a highlighter and the blush as a creme blusher or even eyeshadow actually. Amazing products!!

I would put it on my cheekbones, just a touch to highlight :) I am so getting one of these next time I go out! I want one!

I love the thought of illuminators but they don't do much for my skin I find. Perhaps just haven't found the right product yet - maybe these Face of Australia ones are worth a try.

Gorgeous and glowing! I love how many more brands are starting to stock mineral ranges. I'd probably use this for countouring.

Nice one FOA, and you've sold me Liv! Sounds like beauty bargain of the year and a probable Glosscar's nomination. I'm going to start with Angel Flame for my cheeks, but only if I can restrain myself, ha ha :-)

Oooh would love to try this. Lately I've been loving a slightly dewy foundation finish with glowing cheeks. I'm loving the look of the slightly peachy pink illuminator in this range. Must test it out next time I'm at the shops. I like to dabble a bit of illuminator on my cheeks but will try mixing a bit in with my foundation next time as suggested.

I went to buy this straight after the video but the lightest shade which suits my skin tone to a T is all sold at priceline already :(, so I got the bronze one and am going back for it next week!

I love these. Definitely one of the best products I have used so far in 2012! I love applying it to my cheekbones and mixing it in with my TM.

I'd use my illuminator on the top of my cheek bones - I love the way it 'lifts' flat make-up and actually gives the face an overall natural look. I use a lot of matte types of make-up on my face but it can often look too flat so when I add a little bit of illuminator just to the top of my cheekbones I find my whole make-up looks less make-uppy and much more natural in just a few seconds. So yes I love illuminators too and these Face of Australia ones look fantastic! I love that brand.

I would buy the 4 and experiment with them like you said cheeks and the decollatage even as eyeshadow sounds exciting!

I think the only way to know what the products would look like is to have dress up day to discover the wonders of illuminators. It is good to see how someone else uses a product and why.

These look fantastic, and what a great price! I mainly use my illuminator the cupid's bow and below the arch of my brows.
