How-to: get glowing skin in seconds

Fake a great night's sleep
Ok, so you’ve burned the candle at both ends this week – between the all-nighter you pulled to get that paperwork done, the late night dancing session with your girlfriends and those mid-week cocktails, it’s fair to say that you’re looking about as good as you feel right now. Luckily, with the aid of some simple beauty tricks, you can get back to looking fresh as a daisy again – without the effort of catching up on sleep or ditching your junk food diet. Here’s how…
Get glowing with bronzer
A really great bronzer will give even the most hagged of faces an instant natural glow in seconds. A bronzer with radiant light reflecting particles is your best friend the day after your ‘ok, but I’ll only stay for one drink..’ night out. Grab Rimmel London’s Sunshimmer Bronzing Compact Powder and pop it in your handbag for emergencies.
Cheat a natural glow with illuminator
So you’ve rocked up to work and popped into the ladies and just been confronted by a horrifick sight: your face! If you’ve realised you look like a zombie at the last minute and there’s no time for a makeover, don’t despair – a highlighting illuminator will do wonders (and we mean wonders!) for your tired-looking skin. Try Benefit’s High Beam liquid illuminator. It’s a great handbag companion and comes with a brush applicator so you can sweep it over dull spots quickly and easily. Run down the bridge of your nose and over the apples of your chees then blend with fingertips for an instant facelift.
Fake it till you make it with a highlighting bronzer
Love, love LOVE L’Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Duo Sculpting Blush. This crazy-clever little beauty gadget has been specially designed with two shades – a highlighting shade and a sculpting shade that are both picked up in one sweep of your brush and applied to the exact right spots on your cheeks thanks to the smart design. Great when you’re feeling lazy and need a quick pick-me-up!

I love Benefit High Beam but it has to be applied with a very steady hand because it does have a shimmer to it rather than just a 'glow'. You don't want a shiny face, just shiny cheek bones.

I'm a big fan of Benefit High Beam. Stella also has a great highlighting product.
