Fantastic day to day bronzer

This is my go to bronzer in the summer months. The slightly shimmery particles on my cheeks leave me looking tanned and sun kissed.

Although I would generally be hesitant to spend so much money on a bronzer that I only use for part of the year, the bang for your buck is awesome! So many comments about my great tan makes me repurchase this again and again.

Beautiful sun-kissed look!

Almost Bronzer is a lovely product as it makes my skin glow and contours my cheeks beautifully. Just a few light sweeps gives the right amount of 'sun-kissed' sheen. There are visible sparkles which makes my skin look healthy and glowy. I love that there are two shades that you could use to blend together or just use one side, depending on the intensity of the shade you want to achieve.

New fave bronzer

I went to the states recently and this bronzer is practically half price over there so I got one, god I absolutely love it! It's perfect and has spf15 in it which gives my skin a little bit of extra protection from sun spots etc particularly on my cheeks. The compact is halved down the middle, half light bronze/half medium bronze. I'm mainly using the paler shade as the medium shade can be a bit orangey on me on it's own, however with a kabuki brush and a light hand you can swirl the colours together, tap off the excess and you have quite a nice darker shade. The compact packaging is gorgeous bronze colour with a flip compartment underneath the product which contains a nice flat headed bronzer brush. The brush itself is good for travelling or nights out it's a soft headed brush and isn't too bad at all compared to some compact brushes which are quite rubbish! This one I would use on one off occasions when I dont have the room for a big kabuki in my handbag etc. It's a great product and I love that it doesn't contain parabens too like most bronzer, I'm pretty much paraben free these days so this is the perfect bronzer for me now! It also doesn't seem to be too shimmery or break me out which I also love! :)

Quick and easy to use

The lady at clinique recommended this for me instead of the straight bronzer as I am quite pale. Great product, its so cute and compact, having the brush inside the case is such a great bonus, I always throw it in my handbag when I go somewhere. Only downside I think is that it is very light, so when I go out I use this more all over my face and have a darker bronzer that I use just for cheeks, but this is probably just due to me having the wrong colour. Would buy it again though, clinique can do no wrong...

nice bronze colour and gives me that beautiful tanned glow which also the benefits of SPF which is great in the summertime. i love clinique products and can always trust what i pay for!

Easy To Use Bronzer

The Clinique Almost Bronzer comes in an elegant looking bronze compact. It is easy to open, no struggling to prize it open, like a lot of compacts. Simply pressing a button at the front, releases the lid, revealing the two tone bronzer inside. The mirror is a handy size, being big enough to see exactly where you are applying the product. It comes complete with a application brush, making it a perfect product for touch-ups on the go.

I was hesitant at first when using the Almost bronzer, after many a bad experience with bronzers. They're always too dark or orange for my liking, and to be honest, I have never been confident with my ability to apply it in the right areas of my face to give me that coveted sun-kissed look. Well, my fears were quickly squashed when I discovered just how easy this product was to apply. Achieving a sun-kissed glow was no longer just a dream. I found it very forgiving, as the colour was buildable. Perfect for skin tone changes, whether it's lighter due to winter, or darker in summer, there's always a perfect shade available.

I love that there's not only a bronzer, but an option to use the lighter colour as a highlighter, meaning requiring less time, and of course, less room in my handbag!

The brush is good enough to use when out, but I do use an alternative brush at home. Mainly due to the fact that I prefer a denser, round brush.

There is a slight shimmer in this product, but I found it to be subtle, not giving me that over-the-top disco ball look, ok for a teen, but certainly not ok for someone my age!!

Overall, I was more than happy with the Clinique Almost Bronzer. The convenience, ease of use, fantastic results and the added benefit of SPF15, I can't go wrong!

Too sparkly and hard to achieve glow payoff

I have to disagree with previous reviewers with this one - I received a smaller sample size of this in Clinique's bonus time. I do like the colour of this, not orangey at all. But in order to achieve any colour payoff, I needed to use enough that it became rather sparkly on my skin. I prefer my bronzers glowy!

Silky subtle highlights...

Up until 6 months ago, I'd filed bronzers (along with primers) in the what's the point? why do I need it? category. These days I can't survive without a primer, and the same goes for this little beauty. It's hard to make a mistake with this product - there's no risk of overdoing the sunkissed look as the colour is barely-there, and the shimmer minimal.

The compact is exactly that - compact! Contains two shades of powder, a baby brush in the underneath compartment, a mirror, and the whole unit clicks solidly closed. Perfect for touchups at work, although I haven't found the need. Great for creating light and shade around the outside of the face, and the SPF 15 is an added bonus. I've tried other bronzers from time to time, but they always made me looked like a barbecued chicken. Thanks Clinique for making a bronzer that looks natural :-)

so natural looking

I have not had a lot of luck with bronzers - I don't know whether it is a case of me over applying them or I just haven't used very good ones but they always seem to make my face look shiny and even sweaty looking. This one didn't. It made my skin look beautifully sun kissed. When I first saw the product I though that it was going to be way too dark for my skin but it wasn't at all. It might have been the little brush that came the bronzer that prevented me from over applying - I thought it would be one of those crappy little brushes you get for free in gift with purchases pack that you never use, but it was actually really useful for applying the bronzer. This is a great bronzer which is easy to apply, even if you don't have much experience with bronzers.

Perfect!

This is my first ever Clinique product, thanks to BH for my Turquoise Gift. At first I was a bit unsure about using it, I haven't had much success with bronzers and this one look a bit sparkly for me, but I thought what the heck give it a go. It was FANTASTIC colour matched my skin perfectly for just the right amount of glow and not sparkly on the skin at all. I love that it has it's own mirror so handy to throw in the handbag for easy touch up's during the day. Although I should confess that I didn't realise there was a brush in a secret compartment until i read other reviews about this product. So now that just makes this the perfect product.
