10 of the best: autumn make-up must-haves

A woman has a right to three things when it comes to her make-up. A fresh looking face, long-lasting radiance and a dewy glow. With the summer oil slick long gone, autumn is the perfect time to make a smooth transition into dewy foundations and deliciously creamy colours.
So say goodbye to your matte mug and welcome a season of fresh shades, radiant looking skin and an overall dewy finish that tops off everything to a tee.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturiser with SPF 15
“I bought this based on the reviews on bh and was not disappointed. I naturally have oily skin and so shine is a big factor for me. This moisturiser leaves your skin dewy and radiant - literally. There are tiny little pieces of reflective illuminating pieces that catch the light and make you glow and NOT shine with grease! It's very light and smells refreshing. It has and SPF of 15 and is also made from natural ingredients. What else could I possibly ask for? Well is ALSO has cleared up my tone and complexion. I didn't have bad skin to start with but there is a difference in overall evenness of skin on my face. My skin looks very healthy. This is definitely a winner!” Rating: 4/5 – Layla Fields
Tip: This is great as a skin primer as the light reflective particles add an instant shot of radiance to your make-up and the silky formula helps to ensure that your foundation stays put for longer!

It's only just started to get cooler here in Perth (yay!), so that means my skin and hair are both calimng down and I'm beginning to feel like a normal person again. This product looks promising, I wonder if it would be good on my sensitive skin though?

I've heard rave reviews about this product. I'm not sure about the dewy finish though. I have an oily t-zone and I like my skin looking as matte as possible. Any one with oily skin tried it??

A bronzer because it tides me over with that bit of extra boost of colour until winter when I'm meant to look paler anyhow. Winter I don't tend to use it and summer I don't tend to need it.

I have never been a big moisturiser user on my face, until i found this!! i use it with my foundation as a primer, i use it before bed, after shower, when i think about it at work. It really does give a natural glow which is something you search for, especially now coming into the winter months you need your face to look fantastic while the rest of you is rugged up!! good job Aveeno :)

I have combination skin & i LOVE this! After i let this sink in to my skin a little, i apply my concealer and then apply my mineral foundation and I'm good to go.

For the colder months I need a heavier moisturiser w/ sunscreen and Carmex lip balm.

Primer. I find when parts of my face get drier as the weather gets colder, I apply a mousse-like primer to these areas and it stops my foundation from clinging to the dryer skin.

i loved the ultra calming range, so gentle. Love to give this a go. I guess my must have beauty tool in cooler months is a warm pampering bath, fast absorbing body lotion, warm jamas. HOT WATER BOTTLE!!!Ok beauty to me comes after comfort!! I feel the cold big time. You cant feel gorgeous without the essentials aye?!
