Diabetes symptoms

-Constant thirst
-Itching

I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2 1 1/2 years ago and I didn't have any of the above symptoms. Plus I was the right weight for my BMI (just have a tiny bit extra around my middle) and also nobody in the family has it. Guess I just got the short straw. My g.f. who had none of the side affects is now Diabetes Type 1.
It is just amazing all the people now that are getting Diabetes, it certainly is a big problem.

I knew about most of these already but good to be reminded. My mum has type 2 diabetes and refuses to believe it's diet/weight related.

6 maybe 7 of those symptoms, I put the numbess down to my low blood pressure, I'm not sure if my itching symptom fits though because my hands and feet feel unbearably hot at times and it seems to be almost like an allergic reaction but there's never an apparent cause. I do need to cut back on my sugar intake.

I'm overweight and terrified of getting diabetes. I'm making changes now to reduce my weight and improve my health - but it's good for me to be aware of these all the same.
