How-to: get rid of tuckshop lady arms

Tuckshop lady arms belong in one place: the tuckshop. Unfortunately, as we age the bits above our elbows start to get that little bit jiggly and may even be prone to flapping in the wind (heaven forbid there's ever a hurricane!).
While your 'bingo wings' might be fun for the kids to play with, chances are you're not too fond of them, right? So it's time to do something about them ladies - better late than never!
We show you how to get rid of your tuckshop lady arms and get them looking sleek and toned with our easy exercise program…
Lifts
Fill two identical sized bottles with water, or use two full cans of baked beans. Holding one bottle in each hand, raise your arms up behind your head so that they’re completely straight. Now bend the arms to bring the bottles directly behind your head, so that they’re touching the nape of your neck. Raise them up again and repeat twenty times.
Dips
Place your hands on the edge of a bench, partially supporting your body weight with your feet. Maintaining a vertical torso position, lower your body until your lower arms (the section from your wrist to your elbow) are parallel to the floor. Extend the elbows and return to your starting position. Repeat in three sets of eight.
Lying dumbbell
Lie on your back, holding your homemade weights (i.e.: filled water bottles or cans) in either hand. Keeping your arms perfectly straight and parallel, raise them up so that they are parallel with your shoulders. Slowly lower down and repeat twenty times.
Power push-ups
Get yourself into either a traditional push-up position (raised up on your toes), or an adjusted position (on bent knees – also known as the ‘girly’ push-up!), keeping your back flat. Then, keeping your arms shoulder-width apart, lower yourself down until you are a centimetre away from touching the ground, before pushing back up. Repeat three times in sets of eight. This is by far one of the most effective arm workouts you can do for getting rid of tuckshop lady arms.
Are your upper arms toned or do you suffer from tuckshop lady arms?
What are your favourite arm-toning exercises?

Hmmm, need to incorporate some of these into my regime - my upper arms are not as firm as I'd like them to be, although they're not flapping in the wind, ha ha. These exercises sound manageable, and I'm especially interested in the power push-ups :-)

Im very lucky, I have very toned arms, and it takes very little to see muscle definition. A combination of running and a few weight lifting exercises keeps them toned.

Being slim and a size 8 I thought my arms would be ok. Well I looked in the mirror and took a good look at my arms.............AAAAAAAAhhhhhh I need those bottles filled with water. I think I need an arm lift (only joking), but my arms definately need toning.

This is exactly what I need to do. I avoid wearing sleeveless tops because of my arms. I have a very slim torso but feel that my arms let me down. This is one of the things on my 'to do' list this year. xx

Thanks for the tips BH I'm not very good with knowing what exercises are good for toning arms. It'd be great if there were pictures too as I always find it hard to decipher descriptions.

My arms are quite skinny at the moment so thankfully I don't have any problems with floppy, tuckshop arms.

I have tuckshop arms and they are no fun at all. I can't wear short sleeves even in Summer. Fortunately, I have good biceps but the flapping in the wind, I can do without.
