Sweeten your Easter – the beauty way!

The Easter long weekend has almost come to an end – too sad, isn’t it? There may only be a few hours to go until we’re back to work and deadlines, but there’s nothing stopping us from adding a bit of sweetness to the rest of our Easter long weekend.

We know, you’ve probably had enough of sugar and chocolate this weekend, but we promise – you won’t find a calorie or shred of guilt in any of these Easter treats.

Glasshouse Fragrances Tahaa – Vanilla Caramel Triple Scented Candle – If you’re like me, sometimes you forget just how good a scented candle can make you feel. Take one whiff of this caramel and vanilla baby and you’ll never, ever have that problem again. And if you’re looking for a scent that’ll take you back to your mum baking away in the kitchen, try Circa Home 1965 Vanilla Bean & Allspice Classic Candle.

Evodia Vanilla Addict Roll On Fragrance
– Pop some of this delectable perfume on your wrists, neck, and behind your ears and you’ll be sure to get that sugar hit you need all day long.  Plus, the conveniently sized vial can easily fit into any handbag – making midday pick-me-ups a cinch.

Bodyography Lip Gloss in Sugar – What more could you want from a lipgloss than a shiny finish without the tackiness? It also doesn’t hurt that this one’s packed with aloe vera and vitamin E to keep that pout of yours as nourished as ever.

Quick! Time’s running out to enter our Easter beauty trail…

Easter may be over soon, but your nails can celebrate all year ‘round…

My son went on his first egg hunt and all the adults stood over him, so excited! I have to say I don't want the weekend to end.

Family time was my priority this weekend, and it still is - we've been so lucky in Sydney with perfect weather (for a change, lol). On the food front I've shown unbeleivable restraint and only eaten 3 Cadbury mini-eggs, well...so far anyway :-)

With family and friends. I haven't eaten one Easter Egg all weekend!! I'm not really into chocolate that much and so I didn't really feel the need to eat any. :D

We had a family lunch yesterday with 19 family members, it was great. We had a "swap meet" and took along unused/unwanted make up, clothes, shoes etc, which was fantastic. I got rid of HEAPS of make up and skin care stuff and came home with a beautiful black and white doona cover and some incense:)

I ate way too much chocolate with my family! We had a BBQ with my extended family and then a traditional roast lamb for dinner.

I had a big family lunch and just relaxed outside :) Nothing to big because I also celebrate Orthodox Easter next week, which is more of a big deal to me.

Had a lovelly BBQ with all my family, played cricket, ate, children played easter egg hunt, was a lovely day and lots of delicious food. My girls had a ball and went to bed exhausted. I had a chocolate egg last night only one but silly me had it not long before bed and couldnt sleep afterwards. The Glasshouse Vanilla Caramel scented candle sounds delicious, wow.

Unfortunatelt there's no easter celebration this year for me. No one bothers to do that, but just yesterday I took my partner on an early birthday shopping spree,as his birthday falls on this tue.

Vanilla is by far my most favoured sent, and teaming that with chocolate is just a match made in heaven

I had a great chocolate binge this weekend but we keep on celebrating easter for over a week because we always have, ie my family might be just roman catholic now but a couple of generations before we were mixed roman catholic and orthodox so we always celebrated it over both 'celebratory periods' :)
