Excellent Nail Tool

Manicare Nail Clippers - With Nail File come in a cardboard back blister pack. The nail clippers are silver being chrome plated.
The nail clippers are put to good use with my partner and son, who clip their fingernails at least once a week.
To get the nail clippers ready to use, pull up the flat triangular piece and swivel around until it matches up with the base. Pressing the ends together allows the curved clipper edges to come together cutting my fingernail.
Nail clipping is done after washing or showering. I find the nails easier to clip when they are softer, being more pliable for the clippers to cut through.
Definitely less jaggered nail due to uneven clipping when the nail is too brittle for the clippers.
The size and arched shape of the nail clipper is suitable for most fingernail sizes.
The clippers have a small nail file attached which is swivelled out to use. The curved end of the nail file is excellent for cleaning under fingernails.

Good for taking off a lot of length

I use these clippers when my nails are too long to file down or I am feeling lazy. They are good for nails that are narrow but not for nails that are wide, such as big toe nails, due to their curved shape. I wish Manicare made a style of clipper with a flat shape so that those people that want square shaped nails can cut them in that manner instead of in a curved shape.
Lastly, these clippers work better when nails are softer (by being soaked in water for a few minutes). This will eliminate the risk of nails splitting when they're dry and more fragile.
The nail file attached to this clipper is more for decoration than anything else - I can't imagine using it to actually file anything!

Cute and convenient

I have this in my makeup bag to go and it is just so adorable...and its also very effective! Cant go worng when you pick manicare nail clippers :)
And love the nail file as well...so convenient!

very effective

For me I have average nails, they aren't weak but they aren't the strongest either. This nail clipper does a good job with clean cuts. However for my partner he has super strong, thicker nails! When he uses these his nails shoot off metres from where he is. I also like the mini nail file/picker thing that is attched, it's handy for cleaning underneth nail tips.

ADORE THE 2 in 1! :)

I am always a sucker for 2 in 1 combos and this product is just fantastic. The quality isn't cheap or tacky and I didn't need a whole lotta pressure to be able to clip my nails. The mini nail file is so adorable and i love the sharp point to get rid of dirt that has entered my nails! Perfect for last minute touch ups and a must for every girls purse!

no other brand

i had a cheaper version of nail clippers and they were horrible, they didnt cut through anything and were just very messy and were practically just ripping my nails off...
these ones are sharp and i use them on my finger nails and my toe nails....
so easy to use and clip with accuracy ....

sharpest and handiest

This one of the best nail clippers on the market. they stay sharp and in shape for ages. with the nifty emery board/nail file it's so handy to keep in my handbag in case of emergency!

can't live without it

These are indeed the best and affordable nail clippers around, so hand and purse size just in case you break a nail. The file is good just to take of the pointy edges.
