review for apricot punch shade

Well, let just say Im glad I won this shade and didnt pay for it. Unfortunately this is the worse Rimmel Polish I own. I noticed the brush was different compared to the other Rimmels, the polish still glides on but I had trouble getting into the corners easily. The may reason I wanted the fruities range was for their gimmicky scents, funnily enough I like things like that. But I was very disappointed with the Apricot. I guess I have high expectations after owning strawberry fizz. When your applying the polish all you can smell is polish, no apricot scent at all. After it dries it still smell like polish until the end of your "sniff" when you get this still scent of something else, not sure what of though.
I found it also dried alot slower then my other Rimmels. I applied two coats as one coat was still showing my nail tips. After thirty minutes I applied a bit of pressure on one nail with the tip of another nail, and the polish peeled straight off. So i then completely removed the polish off all nails. No other Rimmel polishes have every done this to me.

scented one ughhh

i have the colour strawberry fizz. its in the scented range. i really dislike it.... the smell is really sickening. it makes me really want to throw up because it is really intense and its all you can smell when you apply it. the only upside is the colour. i really like the pink

My favourite budget nail polish!

I absolutely love this stuff. The colours are fantastic and easy to apply. The brush is a little on the skinny and fiddly side, but that's nothing too major. I regularly use these on my toes and find they last for a least about week without chipping. They very good value, I definitely recommend this product.

dry super fast

this appled on smoothly and dry quite fast. and also its really pigmented. The colour last quite long

Great colour pay off.

I recently purchased one of the 'I love Fruities' range in lemon. They're supposto smell like the fruit when dry but I find the smell only lasts a few minutues once dry. However I looovvee the colour! A beautiful pastel yellow that I was looking for and i've been wearing it for a few days now and it hasn't chipped.

Must haves

I love this rimmel range. the colours are wonderful and it doesn't chip as easy as other brands. For the price they sell them for it is a cheap item to invest in. I found them for $1.75 and stocked up.

Great colour-smooth consistency.

This nail polish goes on well. It only takes one-maybe two if you want a REALLY solid colour- layer.

There is a great range of colour.

It stays on for a reasonable amount of time without chipping. It is a wonderful polish for its price.

I would purchase again.

Great colour but brush is lacking

I bought this nail polish in Apricot Punch as I really liked the look of the colour in the bottle. After one coat the colour was the same so exactly what I wanted which was nice, however I found I had to try and keep applying a little extra as the brush doesn't allow you to have a smooth coverage like some other brands. Perhaps a brush with a wider tip would work better. After my nails dried I was pleasantly surprised that it was a scented nail polish so my fingers smelt fruity, and still do two days later.
The bottle is a good size as I don't feel I will waste any by not using fast enough.

MUST NEVER RUN OUT PLEASE!!

yay...100th review. I cannot get enough of this product. As with all rimmel polishes, it is very very easily to apply thanks to the brush. The brush creates a smooth streak free coat and feels like its hard to muck out. I have this polish in strawberry fizz. I felt so silly, i was applying this product and i thought to myself "something smells nice", little did i know it was the polish. Its unbelievable, A SCENTED POLISH, its smell just like a strawberry lolly would. I applyed two-three coats on wednesday night and its now saturday and the coats are chipped free. Its like a miracle. I have no other polishes apart from rimmel that have this staying power. The scent itself lasts about two days before it begins to fade.

Not For Me This Time

The good things about this polish are the price, the beautiful colour that it appears in the bottle and the trendy packaging. I'm afraid though that I was 'not happy jan' with regards to the application brush of this product (or did I just get a dud brush applicator?) as it was extremely diffiucult to work the brush and get the nail polish on neatly - and I'm no beginner! I also found that the beautiful colour that I have (Black Cherries 193) was watery-looking when on my nails and it literally took three painstaking applications to make it look opaque enough to look acceptable to wear. Maybe a light colour in this formula would be better to try? I don't know, I've only tried this one colour.

Again on the downside though was that I found it began to wear off very quickly and after only a few hours I felt the need to do a touch up. I decided to not touch up with this nail polish at all but instead with a similar dark colour purple that I have in another brand - kind of like doing a coloured top coat. This worked well and it made my nails look good for a couple of days.

It's possible that I had a 'dud' brush applicator and that this Black Cherries colour is just watery looking and other colours aren't but I couldn't recommend this Black Cherries colour - even though it looks stunningly gorgeous in the trendy and cute bottle.
