Not to usual Orly Standards

I have been using full sized bottles of orly for a few years and loving it. I purchased 2 of the small bottles to take away on holidays. Waste of money!!! One was a pale pinky purple that took 4 coats to cover because it was streaky. The other was a dark plum/purple that went matt when "drying", was sheer and after over an hour of drying time I gave up and did not even need remover to remove.
I have not given up on orly just the miniatures

Great if you use the entire range

I found these nail polishes on sale in Pricelinje for an amazing $4.95.Ii had been drooling about them online for quite some time. So was excited to be able to purchase 4 colours for the price of one. But I found it seemed to never dry off, even with I put my usual Dr Lewin top coat, fasts dry. I kept getting an imprint of my clothing, but found I could buff it out, without disturbing the polish, which was weird. So I tried their own tester too coat in a chemist and found it was finally set. So I figured you had to buy the who box and dice when buying this polish. Today I bought a Sally Hansen quick dry top coat and worked even better than the Orly one. So this polish is easy to apply and seems to have a self leveling of the colour. Do now I love it.

Some are hit and miss.

Its a hit and miss with some of these colours. I have a fluro pink and green with envy and found those nail polishes difficult to apply with even brush strokes. At times the colours would come out streaky or too sheer for my liking.

Other than that, its a great brand, but would only purchase it on sale. Just need to find the colours that are right for you

Love it!

I discovered this in a pharmacy at my uni one day, as i was looking to expand on my colour collection and was suprised at how long it lasted. I also bough the yellow, but it looked horrid on my skin, so i had to give it away.

Love a mini!

I received one of these minis as part of my Turquoise loyalty gift from BH and think it is so cute but a very smart product. The quality of the polish is excellent and I have had no difficulty in applying it as it has a terrific brush. I often have an unsteady hand but the shape of the top helps to grip the brush so that the polish is easy to apply. I found that the colour lasted extremely well without chipping for several days which is an added bonus. Will definitely add some more colours to my new collection of minis.

Cute small bottle of polish

I received this product in bright orange as part of my turquoise booty prize and it is quite a nice polish.
To polish itself is more liquidly than my other polishes and one coat which looks quite pathetic is definitely not enough to get the colour on the bottle and I only got good coverage after the third coat (this might be dependent on the colour you use).
The brush like the bottle is small therefore making it easier to apply the polish without making a huge mess and the shape of the grip also helped with achieving a better application.
I found that I did have quite a few chips in the polish on my left hand thumb nail but on no other nail the very next day after application but this could have been due to applying the polish too thickly and it didn’t dry well and was easily damaged soon after application but I didn’t see it till the next day. But the polish did not receive any more damage due to chips or peeling and was slowly disappearing after about 5 days which is a good time frame without me trying to maintain the nail polish.

Gorgeous wee polishes

These are such a good idea, as I rarelyget through even half a bottle of nail polish. It so much more cost effective as well, so I often buy a few bottles at once. Orly has a great selection of colours, including some gorgeous glittery shades. I have a few of these polishes, but have to confess I found a bit of a dud in 'Sheer Peche'. In the bottle it looks a nice subtle peach shade, but when applied it looks clear. If you try and build up the colour with more coats it doesn't dry and so can't be worn. I will continue to get these in future as the other shades I own have impressed me.

Perfect Wear

Finally I was able to buy this nail polish and see for myself how it worked.
For 7 days I had perfect wear and no chips or peeling of the nailpolish and my nails are constantly in and out of water and doing household chores. The nailpolish looked as good as the 1st day of application. It is so easy to apply and I found because the brush is smaller than other bigger bottles, I didn't make a mess around my nails. It drys quickly so can apply another coat easily.
My only problem would be there are so many lovely colours to choose from and the bottle is so cute. The price at $7.95 is so affordable, even for me, it's fantastic, so was able to buy a couple. I love their Nude colour and all the colours shine.

ORLY

I never knew of this brand until BH's Open Day. All you need is 2 coats of their nail polish which gives a bold, vibrant color- that day I chose the cotton candy color and just loved it. What is great about this brand is they have such lovely colors to choose from. I found that Orly lasts about 5-7 days until it starts to chip so the lasting factor is very very good.
When taking off the nail polish, there is no brittleness or nail peeling which is fantastic.
I have found that my addiction for nail polishes has grown even more!
