Great base coat for longer wearing nail polish

I never used to use base or top coat, but after a few incidents of a dark coloured nail polish leaving my nails stained, I thought it was time to take action, so I purchased the Revitanail Base coat. At $14.95 for 14ml, it is very reasonable priced, and comes with the promise of protecting the nails from staining and make the polish last longer.
The base coat goes on very easily and is leaves the nails very smooth and even, ready to add nail polish. It dries very quickly, so you do not need to wait too long before adding the actual polish. Following the base coat, it was very easy to add nail polish, and it did help extend the life of my nail polish by several days. And after removing the nail polish, there were no stained nails.
Great product that helps protect your nails, and well worth the price – as a bottle last a long time, and as it also extends the wear of your nail polish. I can definitely recommend this, and I will definitely repurchase.

Your first step to long lasting colour

This should be your first step to great nails that will last longer. Goes on easily although I find that sometimes a little bit too much can come off the brush. Combined with the top coat it will leave my colour lasting at least 4-5 days before chipping. And doesn't leave my nails stained an unsightly colour. The only issue I have is that I came back to use it after being overseas for a year and it had some stringy white stuff in it that would come out when I used it.

Worth it

Using this base coat is such a breeze it really doesn't feel like I've added an extra step to my nail routine. All my colours go on so smoothly and evenly over this and it helps prevent cracking and flaking for close to a week! This dries in under a minute so it's not something you have to sit around waiting for. Well worth it's price tag as one bottle has lasted me for months now and I paint my nails every week, it's still sitting above 3/4 full!

Just one coat and your ready to go! This product is absolutely fantastic... It prolongs the wear of your nail polish and the polish never stains! I would never miss this step after using this product. It makes your nails look brighter and classy - truly professional!!

A must have!

Just as I ran out of my old base coat BH comes to the rescue and I win one from them! It really does make a difference to use a base coat. I have found that it not only makes the nail polish easier to apply but it also lasts longer and overall just makes the mani/pedi look neater and brighter and better!

Hmm...

Okay, I'll be truthful here - I've never used a base coat. But I have used nail polish without it! Compared to that, the lacquer did glide on more easily and filled out those hard-to-get corners. It gives a bit of a weird feeling when it's dried - like... grime... or set glue or... something. But that disappears after you add the varnish and top coat.
It doesn't give off a noxiously nauseating smell - I mean, it's not pleasant, but it doesn't make me want to faint like some other bases I've smelled (the gal-pals used to use it a lot. Stank up the whole fudging room.)
A four... yes. A four!

Good Base

The base or foundation is the most important aspect to most things in life and beauty with the nails being no exception.
DrLewinn's base coat glides on smoothly and evenly to help fill and smooth little imperfections on the nail before colour is applied leaving a silky finish for your colour to go over.
I've given a 4 star rating due to the odour level which is very high and the fact that in a world of conveinience i tend to prefer a base and top coat in one these days. Otherwise this is a really great product that represents good value for money.

Smooth as can be base

The Dr LeWWINS Revitanail (Base Coat) is great! The first things I realised was that it was fast drying and it had a different kind of smell than regular base coats, not overpowering whatsoever though. In the bottle are 2 little balls inside to make sure the polish is well shaken which is very convenient. This base coat protected my nails from staining as some nail polishes tend to give of a yellowish sort of stain and it seemed to help my nail polish last longer and hold strong. It assisted in the application of the nail polish as the nail polish just seemed to glide on smoothly.I tested a nail without applying a base coat and the nail polish looked dull and the colour did not seem to be as accentuated, which proves it really is effective. It also seemed to protect my nails from chipping. After results like these I will definitely be purchasing this base coat again.
