Silky Soft Hair
I've used this shampoo daily over a couple of days and I have to say that I really like it. I have fairly coarse hair that is coloured regularly (hiding the greys!) and as I also have a sensitive, itchy scalp, I use very mild shampoos daily (oily scalp) However, those shampoos don't make my hair feel any softer or smoother but this Dove shampoo makes my hair feel amazing! My hair feels so silky soft and looks shiny, I really recommend it.

Intensive repair shampoo..
I had such an itchy scalp after I changed to this shampoo. I'm not sure if it was because I changed shampoo brands or if it didnt work with my scalp. I decided to keep on using it to see how things went.
I really did hope it would repair my hair so I gave the shampoo any go. It does appear healthier and I have noticed how shinier it looks. I normally have much oily roots by the second day but it remained clean and the scent was just great! The itchiness did go away, it was probably due to the change in shampoo.
I also used this shampoo with the conditioner which I will also submit a review for. I wish that it had a different colour for the lid as I tend to get mixed up with which bottle, even though the lid for the conditioner is on the bottom, I'm shortsighted so I cant tell which is which as there are soapsuds in my eye.

Great value for money
I was sent this as part of a gift from Beauty Heaven and I was really impressed. I tend to change my shampoo quite frequently and I found this was excellent quality for a supermarket brand. My haid is bleached and heat styled and it felt noticably softer after I had used this to wash it. Will definately pick up another one once I have finished my current shampoo.
Also, I used this to quickly wash some makeup brushes and it worked wonderfully!

clean and tangle free
i love using the this shampoo, it makes my hair feel so fresh and clean afterwards. even without using conditioner my hair still feels so soft and tangle free! i also think that this shampoo really works for me because it doesn't get oily after 1 or 2 days but lasts for 3 or more.

Intensive Repair Shampoo
Love love love. This is my favourite shampoo. I have quite thick hair and this lathers really well for me. Smells really good, I use this with the conditioner and my hair dries soft and fluffy with a healthy shine. I've gone through two 300ml bottles of shampoos to one 300ml conditioner.

Not really impressed
I got this product, thinking it would repair my unruly, damaged hair and eliminate the frizz. I found that it made my hair feel squeaky and didn't fix my problem. It may work on other hair types though.

pleasantly suprised!
I received this as gift from bh... I did not really expect much but as I lathered my hair I could already feel a difference. My hair was dry before but after using it it had regained some of its moisture. Its a "keeper" I am thinking of buying the conditioner to see if it will make an even bigger difference.

LOVED THE SHAMPOO!!!!
I received a sample of this in a magazine and just tried it yesterday! It smelled amazing in the shower and applied generously to my hair! All yesterday my hair was silky soft and my dry/damaged hair was smooth and hydrated! Today i bought both the shampoo and conditioner of Intensive Repair by Dove! Very cheap for such a great quality formula! Will continue to use and hopefully see more results like yesterday!

Good value
I really liked this shampoo as a cheaper alternative to my usual one. I found the packaging nice and easy to handle. The smell was pleasant without being overpowering.
My hair felt really clean and it didn't make my hair fell like straw, which others do until you add conditioner.
I usually buy a shampoo that is targeted towards staight hair but even though it doesn't say on the packaging, it definatley kept my hair nice and straight.

Shampoo to moisture coat each strand!
Dove Intensive Repair shampoo has a light, clean, fresh scent that reminds me of Dove's original creamy moisturising soaps. This medium thick consistency shampoo lathers generously and only needs a small amount to thoroughly cleanse my long hair. For me this shampoo has a noticeably creamier consistency compared to other shampoos and the lather feels moisturising on my hair while cleansing it without feeling weighed down or greasy. I'm guessing this is thanks to its micro moisture serum and fibre actives ingredients as my hair feels like it has a layer of moisture coating each strand helping to repair my hair while cleansing. It rinses out well and leaves my hair ready to be conditioned without leaving my hair feeling dry or stripped. The container has a thick base that tapers to a flip top lid which makes it easy to grip and fast to use which I like. My damaged hair responds well to this shampoo and when paired with the matching conditioner achieves it full potential of intensively repairing my hair. My only negative is that I can't see how much I have used over time as the container isn't clear but after a month of twice weekly use my bottle still feels at least half full. This is a reliable shampoo for damaged hair needing intensive care and with its fair price is one I would use again.

it has its pros and cons
The shampoo bottle looks too similar to the conditioner bottle. I had to double cheack to see if I picked up the right one in the shower. Both bottles have very clean, typical dove packaging with easy to use flip top lids. The scent reminded me of chemicals in a hair salon. Perhaps Dove could incorporate a jasmine scent?
The shampoo had a lot of lather to it and easily dispersed through my hair. The first time I used it, my hair looked and felt amazing. After that, my roots were left so shiny that they just looked oily. It was also quite flat, but I was amazed that it got rid of a lot of my frizz.
I have quite long hair that ranges from oily at the roots to dry at the ends. I would consider purchasing again in light or medium damage, but intense damage was way too much moisture for my roots.

Squeaky clean
I have recently had to switch to organic/non-silicone based shampoo and conditioners as I have been suffering from a build up in my scalp. That said, I did use these two for couple of washes to get a feel for them, and then asked my partner to continue using them and tell me what he thought. I can’t pinpoint the scent of the scent of the shampoo, it was nice and mildly fruity/floral? It definitely cleaned well, I found I only needed about a 20c piece size to clean my long hair. It foamed up quite a lot, which was a little worrying, as that generally means there are quite harsh cleansers that are working as foaming agents. Both my partner and I found this cleaned our hair maybe a little too well, it tended to leave it squeaky clean (I have dry hair, he has normal). Which is generally not a great thing, seeing as that means there are no natural oils in your hair. However, this may work better for someone with oily hair. But having said that, the matching conditioner does add a lot of moisture back to your hair so it is manageable. But as there are silicones in the formula, I am not able to use this continuously, which is not a fault of this specific product though, it is not targeted at sensitive scalps. The shampoo is reasonably priced for the quality of the product, and the size of the bottle. I would recommend this product for someone who doesn’t have a sensitive scalp and dry hair, as it does what it says on the tin, and if used in conjunction with the conditioner will leave your hair shiny and healthy looking.

Intensive repair for dry hair
I had very high expectations for this product as my hair are dry, damaged and in severe need of conditioning and I am very impressed with this product as it leaves my very soft, smooth and smelling great. You don't need much product as small amount of shampoo is enough to lather up properly and clean my hair. This shampoo doesn't make my hair frizzy and brittle instead it gives amazing shine and the smell is not overpowering and is really nice.
The packaging of the shampoo is quite simple, clean and clear and very elegant with very generous size for the prize you have to pay. So overall I liked this shampoo and will continue to use it.

Great everyday!
I loved the intensive repair shampoo!!! Beautiful texture and lathered well in my long hair – therefore I didn’t need to use much product to achieve a great result. Great packaging by Dove as usual and easily dispensed bottle. In conjunction with the intensive repair conditioner I found that my hair felt soft, smooth and easy to manage with no frizz. Really good value for the cost and an everyday shower essential.

Great value, high quality shampoo for bargain price
Dove products remain among the best value for those who want a budget price and a high end result. This is a delicately scented (slightly vanilla with a hint of almond) shampoo that comes out white, thick and creamy. It coats the hair and washes out well. The slimline bottle fits neatly in the shower, and has a clean, simple look about it.

Intensive care for dry/damaged/unruly hair!
Dove's Intensive Repair collection provide the ultimate solution for dry, damaged and unruly hair types. With its rich, creamy formula and classic Dove fragrance it nourishes each strand from root to tip, smoothing the hair cuticle and providing maximum control of frizz and flyaways. After enduring many years of heat styling, colouring and neglect my dry, long locks literally sighed with delight after using this product. My hair feels so soft, bouncy and hydrated with a gorgeous healthy shine! I have tried so many supermarket and professional formulas and have fallen head over heels for this range. If your hair needs intensive care like mine then give this little beauty a try!

Dove Shampoo
I’m trialling this Dove Shampoo for BH, thankyou BH. I wasn’t really expecting much from the shampoo as I remember using a Dove shampoo about 6 years ago and it wasn’t a good experience, I swore I’d never let Dove near my tresses again. So I was hesitant when it came to using the brand again. The bottle is a good size and the flat bottom makes it easy to sit in the corner of my shower on the floor. I found the flip top easy to use. The shampoo has a subtle smell to it but I’m not sure what I think of it. Sometimes I find it smells a bit chemical-ly and don’t like it and other times I barely notice it but it’s not a scent I’d rave about. The shampoo is a white liquid that is quite creamy in texture. One thing I noticed was how much it foamed up, more than any other shampoo I’ve used, and I’m not sure whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing, due to the chemicals needed to get that foaming action. It spreads easily through the hair. I massaged it into my scalp and hair for 1 minute then rinsed well. My hair was left feeling a bit like straw (even while wet) and it was just a bundle of knots. I have curly, dry hair and there’s no way this shampoo was intensive or moisturising enough for my hair type. I think that someone with fine hair might find this more suitable. I knew from the first touch after rinsing out the shampoo, that combing conditioner through my hair was going to be hell. I’ve used the Dove shampoo and conditioner together 6 times, with each time giving me the same result. I do believe that the Dove formula for their shampoo and conditioners has improved from my initial experience but they still need some working out, especially where their hydration levels are concerned. I won’t use this again.

Not bad for the price
If you're after a supermarket brand at a good price, this may fit the bill. Pleasantly, but not overly strongly scented, the product lathers nicely.
I used it in conjunction with the matching conditioner, and combined, the result was soft, clean and smooth hair. On the negative side, my fine hair was left a little limp and not as shiny as usual.
Despite this, the shampoo & conditioner were solid performers for the price.

Dove's Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Shampoo wasn't enough for my hair.
I love the clean scent of Dove damage therapy Intensive Repair shampoo but found even combined with the matching conditioner it was not enough for my very damaged hair.
The shampoo does however clean beautifully and does not leave that squeeky clean feeling which I don't like from a shampoo but that was all it did for me. It did not repair my hair from the inside as it claims to do.
My husband and son's hair however which is not as damaged as mine was left looking clean, shiny and felt soft. From the very first wash their hair looked healthier and continues to improve as weeks pass.

Good shampoo but not for coloured hair
Intensive repair is a great shampoo for dry hair. My hair is cleansed beautifully and removes the dirt and build up quite well. The shampoo smells great and lathers well. My hair is not only cleansed but also feels soft and silky. It looks so much healthy and manageable.
On the downside, it faded my hair colour a lot. I would not recommend it for coloured hair.

Did the job
I trialled this product as part of the Dove TT. The packaging was good and it was tapered well. It had a pleasant smell. The formula was nice and and foamed up well in my long, thick hair. I shampooed twice for that extra clean and also so it would cover all my hair. My hair was a little frizzy after using this. I thought it would be more tamed from the conditioning properties.
I'm not sure if I'd purchase the shampoo again. It didn't really stand out for me and I find salon-brand shampoo's do a better job.

Cleans well and also leaves the hair soft.
I was lucky to trial this for the dove team trial. The packaging for this product is quite small but professional looking. It was easy to control the amount you squeeze out of the bottle. The product didn't have a strong scent which might be good for people who don't like scented shampoos.
The texture of the shampoo was not to thick and it wasn't too light as well. I only needed a 10 cents squeeze of the shampoo and it was easy to cover my long hair.
Straight after using it, my hair felt very light and soft. It was very effective in cleaning the head. Though it did nothing for my dandruff LOL. that's why i keep a bottle of head and shoulders handy for when i need it (;
After drying the hair, yes, it felt fluffier and puffier then normal but definitely not frizzy. It was used in conjunction with the conditioner (that thing is lengendary :D) and my hair is now so smooth and soft. My hair is now super shiny and looks healthy, including my ends. my ends have split alot and it usually looks dead but noww they look healthy (yee), except the split ends are still there -.-''

Worked at first, but not anymore
The Intensive Repair line of products is designed for hair that has split ends, breakage and is colour faded so it’s right up my alley. It claims to repair and strengthen hair from the inside so I was really looking forward to trying this. I really loved both the shampoo and conditioner when I used them for the first week, they made my hair so soft and silky without weighing it down or looking greasy. However after a couple of weeks and a gentle hair colour later, my hair seemed to be back to it’s normal unruly self. Now that might have been the hair colour’s fault but it doesn’t seem to be working on my hair anymore.
This shampoo manages to remove enough oil from my hair to make it manageable again without making it dry and brittle. It also doesn’t strip my hair of colour unlike other shampoos.
The Shampoo and Conditioner bottles are too similar in appearance and it’s very easy to confuse them. I’d like to see the bottles redesigned so you don’t confuse them in the shower when you’re half asleep.
Has it helped my hair? Well I still have split ends, I still have breakage/fall out as much as I did before, and i’ve recently coloured my hair so I can’t comment on colour fading just yet. The ends of my hair are still pretty dry and i’m now back to using hair treatments oils in conjunction with this to repair them. I don’t think anything can really save them though so it looks like i’ll have to get them chopped off. Only time will tell if this helps the rest of my hair but after a few weeks of use, I haven’t noticed any real difference.
Would I go out and buy this range? If it didn’t stop working after a few weeks then yes, but my hair seems to have gotten used to it and now it makes very little difference to my hair.

Lovely scent and great body for my hair
I've got colour treated hair and I do blow dry my hair almost everyday, so I thought this would be a great way to test if the product would be great for my hair. It came in a flip top bottle and the product was a pretty thick emulsion and I didn't need much to lather up my shoulder length hair. The scent is light and not overpowering. I loved it. It left my hair smelling lovely and feeling soft.

Therapy for hair
Dove repair shampoo has a lovely gentle scent which, unlike some shampoos is not too fruity or too overpowering. It's just pleasant. It foams up well and it easy to disperse through the hair from root to tip. It did leave my hair feeling stronger and less brittle but I found my hair a little dull but that might be from over drying. I would try this shampoo again.

Great Value for Dry Hair
I grabbed both this shampoo and the matching conditioner one day at priceline, in a rush as I'd run out of my usual ones and had to order them. I'll admit, I've become a bit of a hair product snob, I only really stray from my salon brand when I was left without other options for a few days. I'll attribute this to having the most temperamental hair in the world.
The main thing my hair needs from a shampoo is something that balances it right; removes the oil and build up but doesn't strip it leaving the ends dry and the roots getting oily to compensate. This shampoo did this just, once I was through the whole lather, rinse, repeat routine, my hair felt soft. I hadn't touched condtioner yet, but my hair felt like it was conditioned. On one hand, this gave me hope that it wouldn't leave my hair stripped and frizzy but on the other, I was worried about it being too moisturised from just the shampoo and then left weighed down.
Once blow dried, my hair felt soft and shiny. There wasn't any frizz or dryness, even at the very ends. The real test is the next day though, what can look like a perfect salon head of hair, can turn to an oily mess at the roots by the next morning with my hair. I'm happy to say though, my hair stayed oil-free and soft, it had a lot of shine to it that many shampoos and products haven't been able to give me.
This is a great shampoo at a great price for dry hair, that won't be too heavy for those with fine hair, but still deliver a whole lot of hydration and reduce frizz in the process. It gave me 48 hours of oil-free, silky hair and hydration. Big thumbs up.

Un-intense
I had fabulous results using Dove Dry Therapy, and i thought Intense Damage therapy could only be better...but it really wasn't. My hair is still dry, a little frizzy, and it doesn't stay as clean as usual. With Dove dry i only needed to wash every second or third day, with Intense Damage I need to wash daily. Just as well, daily washing will use this product up faster so i can change back to Dove Dry :(

Best shampoo I have ever tried
When I was younger I always had soft, silky hair. Since I have been getting a little older my hair has been getting dry and looking terrible. I was using a salon brand shampoo and conditioner which really did nothing for my hair. I thought I would give this shampoo a try and when used with the conditioner, my hair is left very soft and very silky. It finally looks healthy again like the hair I used to have when I was younger. My husband and I joke when we see someone with dry hair that they need to use Dove. In my opinion this shampoo has saved my hair!

This shampoo smells devine. You only have to apply as little as a 10 cent piece and it would lather your whole head very well. It left my hair soft, manageable, shiny and smelling lovely. My split ends have reduced and it is also very well priced. I love most of dove shampoo and conditioners, but this ones my favourite so far.

Doves Therapy Repairs Damaged And Dry Hair
I only needed a little of this Dove shampoo for my very long hair to get a good lather going and it gave my hair a good cleansing. Another positive was that I only need to shampoo once with this Dove shampoo as my hair is perfectly cleansed with just the one wash. This shampoo not only cleanses my hair but locks in the moisture ready for my conditioner. It leaves my hair soft, provides it some bounce with a touch of shine all at a bargain price. Intense Damage Therapy Shampoo
After years of colouring my hair I was in need of a quick fix for my damaged hair. I like the Dove range and this fits well into my budget. It smells great and cleans my hair really well and the end result was really soft manageable hair. After about the third use I did notice a slight improvement in the overall condition of my hair, and it seems to get better evey week. I love the fact that the added repair serum also acts to protect my hair from further damage. You will not find anything better in this price range.
