Top treatments to try: Kerastase Aqua-Oleum

It's a hard slog, but someone's got to do the research. This week, to celebrate the launch of our new salon and spa directory, Bh is fearlessly laying skin, body and sole on the line to track down the most indulgent, most worth-it ways to wind down and glam up in the salon.
Today, some style-stressed tresses get soft and glossy on the go…
What: Kerastase Aqua-Oleum Hair Treatment
Where: Kerastase salons everywhere. Call 1300 365 552 for your closest.
Spend: $30
Treatment time: 30 minutes
Why we love it…
It's instant gratification. My hair wasn't in terrible shape before, but it was dry at the tips (thanks to straightening) and I wanted to get my shine back before winter. This treatment is famed for immediate nourishing and softening effects, so I nipped into the salon before work...
It started with a speedy shampoo (my hairdresser hand-picked Kerastase Nutritive Bain Satin 1 to lightly replenish my locks) and then it was straight into the treatment. The Aqua-Oleum formula was spritzed into my wet hair and left for five minutes, which really flew by with a soothing head massage thrown in.
After a rinse and a quick blow-dry, I was out of the door in 30 minutes. And I was really impressed. My hair felt so sleek and silky and other people even commented upon how shiny it looked. The instantly glamorous effects lasted until my next wash a few days later.
I think this is ideal for slightly dry and damaged hair or for a fast shot of fabulous before a big event, but really tortured tresses probably need something more intensive for longer-lasting benefits.

I love Kerastase products, they're always fantastic - I use several of them at the moment, I alternate between them and some other products. I've had a few in-salon treatments too, but they were from the Resistance range, and make my hair soooo silky!

I am another Kerastase fan! :) I loved the Ciment Anti Usure conditioning treatment but I can't find it anywhere these days and I'm suspecting that it has been discontinued! Yike! Probably not a huge seller due to the price, but it's seriously worth every cent and you only need a small amount once a week on bleached hair like mine and maybe once a fortnight on style/environmental damaged hair...
Ditto the model's hair! It's gorgeous on her, but that colour wouldn't suit me...

Kerastase would have to be by far the best haircare products I have tried to date and in particular their treatment masks. I'm a fan also and yes $30 is quite reasonable for a 30 minute treatment :)

Sounds awesome.. I have a confession. I have never had a hair treatment at a salon and i can count the haircuts ive had in the past five years. But i am getting in the habit of a regular cut. This sounds like a reasonable price and a good first step!

I've never had a professional treatment either - do get it cut and coloured reqularly - but when it comes to treatment masks, I've always just done it myself.... although $30 is a great price - $30 will also get a nice tub/tube of treatment that will allow several treatments at home....

Sarah this models hair is so glowingly healthly reminds me of mine before I sported my new look!
Have never used Keratase and by the sounds of bh beauty divas its worthy of reducing hair raising experiences!
