INOA is Ammonia FREE!
Thank-you for your comments in regards to INOA by L’Oreal Professionnel as it provides us an opportunity to clarify your concerns in regards to the use of ammonia. The coloration INOA is present in 3 parts: oleo gel, colorant gel and an oxidant cream and we can confirm that none of these 3 parts contain ammonia and as a result the mixing of the colorant which results also does not contain it.
The manufacturing process of the INOA Shampoo (post the coloration service) uses ammonium hydroxide in the production process as a pH adjuster and as a viscosity adjuster. The final pH of the INOA post coloration shampoo means that there is no longer any ammonia in the formula once the manufacturing process is complete. The INOA post coloration shampoo does not contain any ammonia as part of its formulation.

INOA is NOT ammonia-free
It's important to note that INOA is NOT actually an ammonia-free hair color. Upon checking the ingredients, you will see "ammonia hydroxide" listed in the first few ingredients - which is ammonia water. I can't believe L'Oreal is outright lying to salons and customers and even named this range based on the phrase "Innovation no Ammonia". I rate it one star just based on this blatant deception.

Super glossy vibrant colour for healthy hair!
I had made my peace with the fact that permanent hair colour is always damaging till I discovered INOA. I was so excited to try this innovative hair colour that has been making waves world over. I'm so impressed with the vibrant, long lasting, permanent colour which is not only free from nasty ammonia but also is nourishing for the hair. Unlike other permanent hair colours, INOA is oil based which penetrates the hair strands as it colours, super nourishing for my dry hair.
I am very happy with my INOA experience. My hair had been coloured, bleached and chemically treated to begin with and extremely dry. I also had a few grey hair that needed to be covered.
I had a particular shade in my mind which was dark chocolate brown with copperish undertones, one or two shades lighter than my hair colour. The colourist explored my hair and suggested the right shade. The application went very smoothly. There was no chemically smell at all! It did not have any smell actually. After about an hour or so which was the developing time, I was ready for the basin. My hair was washed very well and I could see the fabulous colour even when the hair was wet.
After blowdrying and straightening, I just LOVED the results! It was exactly what I wanted. The chocolate brown shade was so vibrant. It had copper tones in it that it looked so natural and blended so well with the rest of my hair. The few greys that I had were covered perfectly! Oh, the SHINE! My hair has never been so shining after getting a hair colour!
I could also see that my hair was really nourished and felt healthy. I also had a Kerastase treatment with it. But I have a treatment after every hair colour I had in the past but it hasn't been so healthy looking before as with INOA. It has maintained the same vibrancy, shine and health now, after a week as it was just after the colour. The colourist has assured me that the regrowth will not be as obvious because the coloured hair blends into the new growth to make it look very natural. This means you can postpone your next hair colour for longer!
I would recommend INOA to anybody who colours their hair. There is a wide range of shades available and can be tailored to your match your needs. The results are amazing and it is so good for the hair. The cost is not too high compared to other hair colours services which cost as much. The quality of INOA justifies the price. The price just can't be put on your hair's health!
I'd like to thank BH, INOA and Suki salon for this fantastic opportunity to try this fabulous hair colour! I will never look back to regular hair colours ever again!

Hair renovation!!!
I was so lucky to be able to use this service this year and must say I was extremely impressed with the results. There was an amazing range of colours to choose from and it was hard to choose which one to go with. I was a little worried about using this hair service as I am pregnant and did not want to harm my baby with nasty chemicals. But the best thing about this is its ammonia free!!!!
Even the scent of the dye was much more pleasant than the usual strong scent of other dyes. I was left extremely impressed by the results my hair which is usually dry and brittle was soft, shiny and smooth. Not to mention had an absolutely gorgeous colour. I also found the results were much longer lasting than other hair dyes I've used. I would highly recommend this to everyone and will definately be using this service in the future :)

Best Hair Colour Yet
I had been wanting to try INOA hair colour since I first heard about it. I made sure that I found a salon that stocked this range when I booked my last cut and colour. The selection of colours looked amazing and I loved the fact it contains no ammonia.
DIY hair dyes don't do it for me as I have rather thick, porous and coarse hair. They don't seem to penetrate the hair very well and the result is patchy looking colour. In-salon colours work wonders on me, but they often fade out to an unflattering shade and the regrowth is very obvious. This was all until I discovered INOA.
My colourist was wonderful and informed me that I suit cool, rather than warm tones. She matched me with a cool brown, one shade darker than my natural colour. To bring some interest and dimension to the hair she added some gold highlights in a veil. These made all the difference to my look as they added interest, yet were subtle and very natural. The end result was that my hair looked much more vibrant and shiny, and the condition had never been better. It stayed stayed smooth and sleek for several washes.
Over time the colour lightened slightly and my hair gained more natural highlights from the sun. Rather than this making the regrowth more obvious, it actually made it merge more with my natural colour. Because the fading out process is so gradual you don't have to make as many trips to the salon. It has now been several months since I've last had my hair coloured, but I haven't yet felt the need to go back. This can be credited to the INOA specialist who did an excellent job of matching me to the best colours, but also to the amazing quality of the product.
L'oreal has long had the best professional hair colour range, but it has gone one better with the develpoment of INOA. In the past dyes promoting themselves as more 'kind' to the hair have been pretty ineffective. This, however, is better than any other hair colour I've tried. There is a huge range of shades to choose from, you can lighten your hair up to three shades and there is full grey coverage. Highly recommended to everyone.
