Just because you're not a model, doesn't mean you can't strut down the street sporting a head turning hairstyle. Here's how to steal their style!

Nicola Finetti, RAWF 2008
The style: Dark red hair with a rough textured, rock chick vibe
"Because Nicola Finetti's clothes were very soft and feminine, the hair had to have a strong, edgy feel. We wanted to achieve a dry, textured look - with no shine. But the hair still had to be voluminous and feminine but also ‘raw’.
"To create the dry, textured look we dried sea salt into the hair. Then L’Oreal Tecni.Art Volume Lift (root lift) was distributed evenly through the hair. We also applied mousse and dried it all in so that the hair becomes quite tacky yet very, very textured. It is the overuse of product that gives you this result. The trick is adding the sea salt mix to the hair first.
"This dry, textured look is the hottest thing on the runway. To achieve this look at home, use about three to four times the amount of product/mousse that you would normally use and then dry it into the hair.
"The hair is then teased at the roots (to three quarters of the way down) and the ends are left straight. Use a straightening iron over the teased hair and spray with L’Oreal Tecni.Art Air Fix Spray.
"Using your fingers or a soft brush, brush out 75% of the teasing. This will give you that voluminous, matted, dry texture. Lightly spray the hair again with Air Fix Spray - especially into the root area, but leave the ends to hang free so that they look almost dreaded (but are not!).
"This shade of red is the most popular colour of the season. It is a copper red. We have now moved away from the blue reds (burgundy, violets) towards a yellow/orange red tone. Which is vibrant and a lot more complimentary to the skin."

I like this look but i dont think i could really put alot of product into my hair to make it look grungy. My grandmother always telling me to brush out my hair still sticks in the back of my mind. I really like the red though.

Maybe when my hair needs a wash, but I cant wash it til the next day, then I can load it up and make the grunge look and wash my hair the next day...

Nice winter colour and don't mind the look, might find it a bit tricky trying to see out of one eye though! Would hate trying to get hair back to a soft clean washed state.

Hmmm. It just looks like she got out of bed and didn't comb her hair properly. Don't think this one will take off anywhere other than the catwalk.

Gee, goddessmagick, I could teach you how to see out of one eye. It's my natural state. As for the hair .... I hope these models get paid a loooooottttttt of money to have their hair ruined like that!

Her hair does not look like dreadlocks. For starters, she would have to get her hair to look like the blonde model on page one let alone the rest,(it is a really ,really difficult and a lot of work to do dreadlocks and a lot of preperation, before hand and to keep them looking perfect, is not a holiday). This model has amazing beautiful, really healthy, extremely long hair and I love the colour. I could never habve hair like this,"EVER', unless I had hair exstensions. Man,be grateful, with what God gave you !!!!!!!!!!!

Yummy colour...i don't think making your hair appear dry and dead with products is a practical (or clever) thing to do...

This looks fantastic but probably a little too much effort to try to recreate at home. I like to spray salt water in my hair to give it those beachy waves but that is probably about as far as I would take it.

I love the weaving at the bottom of the Nicola Finetti dress (btw I always thought Nicola was female until recently). The hair looks very much like you just got out of bed. They should've just hired me that morning!
