Talk about luscious!

I love the whole John Frieda range so when I bought this I had high expectations! Before I went to bed I applied a small amount to the ends and tied my hair up.
The smell is really pleasant and the serum isn't too thick or watery, but just right.
In the morning, I woke up with soft smooth, non- frizzy hair.
It didn't disappoint me one bit.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants smooth, frizz- free hair in the morning!

Overnight.....but no miracles

I've used this a few times now, hoping each time that there will be some improvement with my hair but no, there's never been a change in my hair, especially not in terms of the softness and hydration. When I apply this to my hair, within seconds it's gone and my hair gets this kind of "clogged up" feeling and by morning there's no way a comb or even my fingers would get thru my hair. Not good.

in love..

i can honestly say im inlove with this product. i have EXTREMELY frizzy unruly hair, like you cant imagine.. i put this in of a night which is easy and not messy at all.. and wake up with my waves more defined and atleast 60% less frizzy. combined with my other products.. my hair is looking brilliant (for me). LOVE LOVE LOVE! also, the price is a little high.. but you ca get it on sale at priceline, or in cheap chemists liike chemist warehouse for $13ish. also, this doesnt really last long either, but its worth the money if your hair is like mine!

Very nice product, will buy for sure

I received a sample and was very nice. My hands weren't sticky, the serum glides on smoothly and blends easily. When I woke up my hair was soft and not frizzy. I also love the smell; it's not too strong and is very mild. Will buy the full-sized product once I finish with my countless bottles of hair serums on my shelf... =)

I'm Hooked <3

Ever since I recieved my little sample pack in my gift from BH, I've been hooked on using it ever since....
I'm not a smoker, not really much of a drinker, so I guess it's safe to say I'm hooked on a good thing =P
This hair treatment smells sooo good and makes my hair feel luxuriously soft! Love love love it.
I will be sad the day I run out, so I will just have to buy some more to make sure that never happens hahaha

soft and silky

i bought this product as i love trying new conditioners and treatments
my hair is chemically treated so i need a good hair regime to keep it soft and supple
i did like this product and it smelt great, however i do like the dive overnight treatment a bit better than this one.

simple

got a sample of this one in the mail and was so keen to test it out right away...
its really simple to put through ur hair of a night time and doesnt take long at all to dry and spread evenly through the hair... its not sticky at all and it smells great....
and you dont need heaps at all, a little defiantly goes a very long way... and in the mornings after extended use, leaves hair less frizzy and more manageable...

alright so far

i actually had a little sample of this and its pretty much empty now... but it smells great and works overnight so its not a hassel at all... it rubbed in really well and didnt rub all over the pillow,
i didnt find it greasy at all which was surprising coz some overnight serum can be quite oily and uncomfortable but this one is just so simple to use and my hair feels more softer now... :)

Treatment for your hair

I got this little sample from BH and I was actually in great need of this product. My hairs are long, unruly and frizzy. It really worked like wonder for my hair. You only need small amount and it smooths out hair and removes all the frizz, leaving your hairs silky as silk.

Not bad

I was kindly sent a trial size tube of this by BH in my 'purple' gift. Although I didn't find any real problems with the product, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool all natural hair care girl, and found that this was too artificially fragranced for my personal taste. It did hydrate my hair well though, and gave it a lovely smooth softness:)

was great

being a hairdresser my hair has been damaged by bleach countless times so i have a lot of breakage and fly aways . I received a sample tried it and found it fantastic.
didnt leave my hair greasy, definitely worth the overnight wait, my hair was frizz free and so much smoother in the morning i have now brought it and absolutely recommended for any one with thick frizzy hair..

no more frizz

i got a small sample of this which i was trilled to use as i have quite long and unruly hair... the smell is something like a guys lynx deodorant or something, it is really quite nice...
its pretty simple to use, you just rub a bit into ur hands then run ur fingers through ur hair- a little unpleasant when u still have it on ur hands though..
but something that works overnight is so great coz u dont have to worry about it and it goes to work without u even knowing it...
it doesnt smell up ur pillow or give off any unwanted residue.. it is really so simple, but i dont really no if i noticed my hair being less frizzy...
but i will defiantly keep trying it to see if it works..

Smells devine and leaves hair silky smooth

A Great leave-in treatment!

I personally prefer a leave-in treatment as opposed to a conditioner, so I use this a couple of times a week as opposed to the once or twice a month that is recommended. It does a reasonable job on dry hair, but I found that it's most effective after you get of the shower and your hair is wet. I apply a 5c piece amount into my palms, rub them together, and coat only the ends of my hair. In the morning my hair is silky soft and protected from the dreaded split ends! Usually I would see split ends after a month of getting my hair cut, now it's about 6 weeks after and still no damage! I was kindly given a sample of this in my purple beauty booty, so it came in a small tube. I found the thin consistency of the product meant it would just pour out of the tube, but since the full size has a pump bottle, it would be much easier to dispense the product. The packaging is a dark shimmery blue and looks so lovely on my bathroom counter!
I would definitely repurchase this in the future, and would highly recommend it to people who suffer from split ends.

John Frieda you've won me over !

i got this in a slittle 20ml sample pack for my Loyalty status gift. When i first smoothed it on, i saw that it worked straight away, my hair was a lot less frizzy and turned shinier. The creme gets absorbed very fast so thats a plus!
the next morning when i woke up, i noticed it was a straighter and had more volume and lift- oh ans yes it was softer, but not by alot.. probably because my hair isn't dry.
But definitely a plus! Good job John Frieda, i'll be buying more of their products for sure!

I was a bit worried about using this thinking that by morning my hair would be a greasy mess. The next morning my hair was not greasy at all and felt fantastic, nice and smooth. After washing it our my hair still felt nice, soft and silky. Will definitely be purchasing this in the future.

Softness is all i feel

Overnight serums tend to put me off as i always imagine my hair turning into a grease ball the next morning. However, since i was lucky enough to receive a sample of this products i decided to give it a shot.

The sample products smelt very nice that lingered on my hair to the next morning. The thick consistency of the product felt a bit sticky on my hands as i rubbed it around, as directed by the instructions. However, when applied, my hair was easily managed.

One of the best thing i found was that my hair will smell lovely, feel lovely and look lovely. The serum made my hair super manageable and it was really good to see it frizz free and shine free the next morning.

I was so stoked to see this product on sale for $12 at Priceline so i decided to pick it up. Unlike the sample, the full size product comes in a sleek plastic tube with a pump. As mentioned in my previous reviews, i love all products with a pump, so i was definitely pleased with the packaging.

Overall, with a price tag of $12, plastic packaging with a pump and a creamy serum that plays a vital role in maintaining my healthy smooth hair, what more can i ask for?

Love it.

I received a sample of a part of my purple gift. I tried this for the first time last night and it did wonders for my hair. I have wavy, frizzy and thick hair that takes forever to straighten. I rubbed about a 10 cent sized amount in my hair and left it in overnight and washed it out the next day. Wow! Surprisingly, this made my hair a lot smoother and straighter. I'll definitely be buying this product.

I recieved a sample in my Beaty Booty gift the other day and I must say it smells brilliant! Frizz Eased

I've been applying this at night to try and combat my fly-away hair and dry ends but honestly the result was very subtle. My hair seems a little less frizzy but I still need to use a hair straightener and other settling products. The scent is quite nice and it doesn't feel slimy like some anti-frizz products. May not be enough for really serious frizz problems though.

Frizz-Free for me :)

I got this gorgeous product in a sample for my purple beauty booty. It smells really fresh and nice, it has a fresh apple scent which i adore.I dont have frizzy hair, but i applied this, focusing on the ends, and was amazed at how smooth, silky and.. tamed my hair was. you dont need a whole lot, i needed more because of my thick, long hair, but even then it was probably the size of a 50c peice that i used. This serum made my split-ends less noticable and gave me a soft, shiny, just went to the hairdresser look. I also noticed that my hair felt more hydrated. i didnt need to wash it off in the morning, my hair just felt normal, but i can imagine that it might make hair greasy if you have thin hair. There was no residue on the pillow either which was great. all in all a great product which i will consider buying full-size.

So silky

My hair is currently quite dry from using my straigtener almost daily, and having stripped some of the colour out of it a few months ago. Although dyed back my hair has never recovered. I applied the serum before going to bed and even after washing out the serum the next morning I didnt notice a dramatic change. That was until I began straightening it, and my hair glided effortlessly through my GHD and felt so silky. Having used it a few times now the only other comment I would make is to make sure that it is all washed out properly.

Smooth

Honestly, it didn't do much to my hair except made it smoother with easier detangling. Didn't perform any drastic changes, but it's still quite decent. AIthough I don't have frizzy hair, I would highly recommend this for those who do.

Almost Edible

I got this as a sample as part of my purple booty. First of all I would like to say I LOVE the smell, OMG I can't get enough of it! I need no more than a 10 cent coin for even distribution in my short hair. The serum leaves my hair soft and silky. What makes it even better is that the serum is instantly absorbed and doesn't leave a residue behind on my pillow. I took one heart off because my hair doesn't feel the same silkiness the next morning.

works well

i got this as a sample in my purple booty and i wasn't amazed at how it worked, but i did find it helped alot with my chlorine damaged dried out hair and there was no residue on my pillow. although this was good i don't think i would buy it again, maybe if i had a big thing coming up and i needed my hair to be in condition but still i'm happy i tried it

Smells amazing and works well

I LOVE THIS STUFF! It smells amazing, leaving the scent in your hair the next morning. It is very easy to apply and feels like it absorbs into your hair and there is no need to wash your hands, really. My hair looked and felt a lot more silkier and less dry looking. I am definitely amazed with this stuff.

Deep Conditioning

I got a sample of this in my purple booty and I'm so glad I did because otherwise I may not have considered buying a full-sized bottle. The first time I used this serum I noticed instantly that my hair was easier to comb, had less fall-out, and smelled heavenly. The morning after, my pillow did not seem to have any product on it, but my face was greasier than usual. The second time I used it I tied my hair into a high bun before sleeping and this solved my greasy-morning-face problem. My hair has been softer and more manageable since I used this serum and I love how I got these results after the first use. Instant gratification always gets me to buy beauty products. I have replaced my weekly hair mask for this serum!

No yucky residue

I got a sample of this as part of my purple beauty booty - woot! I was really excited to try this because its an overnight treatment that you can wash out in the morning. It sounded perfect because my hair is so fine most products, even light serums, can weigh it down pretty easily.

I applied this from the mid section to the ends at night on dry hair right before I went to sleep. I tied my hair in a bun on top of my head as I was afraid the product would get smudged on the pillow and cause me to break out!

The serum is an opaque white colour and is very light in consistency. Its very easy to work into the hair and the hair actually seems to drink it up quite well. My hair didnt feel sticky or heavy after I applied this, which is a plus for me.

In the morning I showered and used my normal shampoo and conditioner (JF recommends you use the shampoo and conditioner from the same range but I didn't). to be honest my hair didn't feel particularly different in any way when I towel dried my hair - it wasn't any silkier than before. But when it air dried I was happy to see that my curls were very smooth and frizz free.

I especially loved how because its a wash out treatment you dont get that yucky sticky residue like most leave in treatments.

I took one heart off because I could see that it did take away from the volume of my hair a bit, buts its no big problem.

Split ends begone!

I received this from BH as a little sampler. I have problems with my ends as I wash, dry and straighten my hair every 3 days. I put the product on the ends of my hair only before going to bed. When I woke up the ends looked noticeably smoother and nourished. I'm a longtime fan of John Frida Frizz-Ease serum, and this product will be a definite and welcome addition to my bathroom cabinet.

Impressive, MR John Frieda!!

This is a very easy serum to use. You only need the amount the size of a 10-20c piece for short hair, and it rubs in easily. It helped to smooth my hair, reduced split ends and stopped my hair getting too dry. It left my hair silky, and it smelt very sexy and feminine. Made styling the next morning super easy as well. It improved the condition of my hair, and a few days after each treatment I could still feel the results.

So Impressed !

This serum is just fantastic ! It is a light weight serum and has a gorgeous smell. It is so easy to apply on the dry ends of my hair and is not thick, gluggy nor does it stick on my hands. Beauty Sleep Must

I recieved this as part of my Purple Booty reward and have to say this is a great little product. It smells fantastic and leaves my hair feeling soft and nourished.Best thing is you apply this before you go to sleep and let it work its magic as you get your beauty sleep. This product is perfectly deisgned for dry and damaged hair though you only need to apply a little as its quiet greasy/heavy.

great for the ends

this is awesome, i usually have to get a hair trim every month due to the ends being so damaged but this product has ensured that the ends of my hair are not split and iin great condition! I really reccommend it to people wanting to grow their hair healthy and strong. It's so simple to use, just pop it on the night before you wash your hair and then rinse it out,

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Night Cream Serum Overnight

A result of constantly heating my hair, I have fragile ends which are dry and split easily. So I am always in search for a hair serum that works. I have found that in John Frieda Frizz-Ease Night Cream Serum Overnight Repair Formula.

As this is an overnight treatment, I was worried about getting residue on my pillow and sheets but I discovered that it is readily absorbed by my hair. Using the Night Serum 2-3 times a week as directed, is definitely enough. It is to be used only on dry hair and truly is a wonderful product! It is very simple to apply, which is fantastic for a person who doesn't have a lot of time on her hands. It really is that simple. Depending on how much hair you have determines how much you apply. I dispense about 20 cent coin sized amount in my hands. This is about as much as I use and I have quite long and thick hair. After that, simply rub your hands together and run your hands through your hair. I only apply halfway down my hair to the tips and I find it is enough to see a result.

But does it work?

Yes!!! When I wake up next morning I always forget that I put it on the night before, generally because it is so well absorbed into my hair. My hair feels healthy and it looks glossy and shiny. Obviously I straighten my hair, but as I straighten I can feel the difference by the way my hair glides through the straightener and it looks so silky and smooth like I've just come from the salon.

Value for money?

This is always a very important category for all products. I am a believer of ‘you get what you pay for’. So even though this product isn’t cheap, I am willing to spend money on it, as long as I can see results. I don’t think this product is too badly priced as it will last a long time since I only use it once a week. There are other expensive treatments on the market as well, and compared to them, I find this is to be a reasonable option. Overall, I would repurchase and would recommend this product to others.

defrizz me

definitley love this one.. my hair is curly and as a red head gets very dry in summer so this is a godsend for me.. the overnight repair formula smooths out all my curls and defrizzes where my hair has gone dry and frizzy... love it

wonderful!

this feels and works as well as some considerably more expensive serums. i use this weekly to stop my split ends from coming back and to prevent frizzies.
the pump pack gets everything out of the container :) not a drop wasted!

Gem of a product

I received this product as a gift from Beautyheaven and loved it from my first try!!! My hair is so damaged from colouring that I really didn't expect much but I was pleasantly suprised. My hair was fluffy, soft and shiny the next day with no frizz. I now use this product twice or so a week and love it!!!!!! It is a great product for repairing hair.

I went priceline yesterday on a mission to buy this product, when i got home the first thing i did was trial my new product ane wow no fizz, i used more on the ends as they tent to need it more and i also noticed i never had near as many loose fly away hairs. I love it , it is a keeper for me.

AMAZING

This product rocks! I tried this after receiving a sample in my turquoise pressie! I was initially skeptical as well, wondering how well it would work, without leaving greasy streaks on my pillow! It saves me 5 minutes in the morning, in favor of 30 seconds before I go to bed, and is as good on my hair as the Joico salon treatment I'd bought, which cost me over $35, and I had to use it two-3 times a week, this one, once a week, and for only around $20odd dollars, works just as well. After trying it I promptly went and bought a whole pack! Best hair beauty buy ever, and works as well as any salon treatment I've tried, on my highlighted hair.

easy and effective

I received this product with my purple status booty and tried it right away. Its super easy to use and my hair felt very soft and manageable after washing it out the next morning. It didn't leave anything behind on my pillow and doesnt' leave your hair oily. I will definately continue using this product.

WOW!

I received this from BH as part of my purple status pressie. It smells wonderful, i wish they made it in a perfume. It really nourished the hair tips and made styling easier the next morning. The only thing is you have to make sure you thoroughly wash it out.

Wonder product

I have been a fan of John Frieda products for a number of years. After a ridiculous attempt at going blonde in my bathroom late one evening (two packets of bleach and a hair colour over chemical black...) my poor little locks were fried. I purchased this product in an attempt to avoid shaving my head and - damn it - it worked! I used a little more than recommended - given the condition of my hair I didn't really see any other choice. I am happy to report that while nothing was ever going to undo the havoc I have created it certainly left my hair softer, smoother and more manageable. Without this miracle product I would have had no other option than to get drastic and do a crazy-Britney chop. Inexpensive, easy to use and highly effective. I can not recommend this product highly enough!

A Pleasant Surprise

My hair type tends to fall in the oily category, which is why i was initially taken by surprise to receive this product in my mail. The product is marketed towards dry, damaged, frizzy hair.. but my hair is quite the opposite, however, with small signs of frizziness.

With that in mind, I decided to use this product alone, replacing my usual conditioner with nightly treatments courtesy of Mr John Frieda, so as to properly judge the conditioning effects of its use over a month.

Every night before bed, I rubbed a dime-sized amount of serum into my hair, concentrating on the ends. The serum is not sticky at all and evaporates quickly in your hand, leaving no residue. There was however, no obvious change in smoothness or frizziness after applying it so I didn't know what to expect in the morning.
When I woke up, the changes were noticeable instantly. My hair felt lighter, and softer to touch - and best of all, there was nothing left over on the pillow! My hair definitely felt 'light and fresh,' the frizz was smoothed down in problem areas, and this state continued well throughout the day.

Over the month, my hair has felt softer, and undeniably lighter and healthier. Using this product has been an incredibly simple process for great results - and I'd definitely urge those who have oily tresses to try this out too. It has worked not only as a repair serum for my ends, but as a lighter, more effective conditioning option to control my oily roots.

It's an incredibly simple and effective process, and i'd urge everyone to give it a look. It's got pretty packaging, but it's the product inside that makes it worth the money!

Dream Hair

I’ve been a fan of a number of John Frieda products for a number of years (in particular the original frizz ease smoothing serum – which I find it one of the best on the market!) so I was excited to try this night treatment.

I like the idea of a treatment you place on your hair before bed! I was a bit concerned it would feel greasy and leave my pillow cases stained but this was not the case.

This product comes in a small easy to dispense container and has a lotion like consistency which absorbs into the hair immediately so you don’t feel any greasy residue and it doesn’t feel as though you are wearing any product in your hair. In the morning you simply wash the treatment out with your shampoo and conditioner.

I find the product makes shampooing a lot gentler and my hair is left feeling softer. Alternatively instead of using it at night you can smooth some in your hair in the morning and wash it out that night.

The product isn’t heavy at all so on some occasions I used it in the morning, placed my hair in a pony tail and washed it out that night.

As I have long hair which is coloured and dry I like using products that make my hair stronger and softer so this is a nice product to use in conjunction with my serums and leave in treatment. Nice product which is priced well.

WORKING OVERTIME ON THE NIGHT SHIFT!

I’m definitely hooked on this brilliantly simple yet effective product. This serum is very light and has a gorgeous, summery tropical fragrance that is subtle and not overwhelming. The best bit is waking up to very soft, smooth and bouncy hair that is not at all greasy or lifeless. AND… (drum roll please!) NO FLY-AWAYS! That’s right…no sticky-uppy-bits-of-hair that can so often happen in the mornings. I nightly dispense some serum into my palms, and then smooth it into the mid-lengths and ends of my hair. It’s truly that simple! And…No mess on the pillows! Last week, a colleague asked me whether or not I had my hair cut, as the ends looked so good. I can definitely recommend this serum, and a little goes a long way, and I know I will buy this again and again. What’s not to love?? This serum is working overtime on the night shift while I sleep! Too easy!

Just like a helping hand back onto your bike from

Frizz-Ease from the John Frieda collection worked wonders on my desperate frazzled hair. However, I must admit that I would never have tried such a product in the past, opting for a leave in day conditioner instead. Recommended for dry, damaged and frizzy hair, I wasn’t sure this product would suit my hair type and current problem.

Earlier in the year I had agreed to allow an eager Eastern European hairdresser (in Australia on a working holiday who had won me over with her charm) to Razor cut my mid length hair to shoulder length. That’s right, to layer my hair with a razor. I thought why not, maybe I’ll get a funky new cut this way. Instead, I have had months of stressed split ends needing regular trims and conditioning - note to self- random act of stupidity, never again.

I was thoroughly impressed with this overnight leave-in serum. I smoothed the serum in greater concentration on the ends of my hair. I have to say I did feel a noticeable softness in the texture of my hair and Frizz-ease stayed true to its claim ‘no residue on the pillow’. My hair did feel healthier as if it had experienced its own detox. It was the helping hand I needed at this time of year. I loved the ease of the push pump dispenser and there was no overly fragrant smell to the product. I did think the packaging was a little excessive though. The dispenser was supported in a plastic casing, and then placed in a cardboard box. I would definitely purchase this product again. (Now, if only it would erase those stray gray hairs that seem to pop up every now and again)

Frizz-Ease by John Frieda

I concentrated on my ends when applying just a small amount to my fingertips. I found it was easy to dispense and did not feel sticky or tacky. It stayed in my hair and not my pillow-which was something I was concerned about. Also it was lightly scented. I didn't require an excessive amount of shampoo in the morning to wash it out either-which was another concern I had-It actually washed out really easy, and my hair was easier to brush through afterwards-I felt like I had freshly cut ends, even though I haven't had them cut for ages. I think the more you use it the much more satisfying the results are and I would consider purchasing again, but I would look out for it when on special.

works while you get your beauty sleep.

When I received this product, I was a little worried that it would leave my pillow very greasy and dirty – this has far from been the case. The crème absorbs quickly into the hair, without leaving a greasy feeling. It has a nice creamy texture, with a lovely but gentle and not too overpowering scent. After waking up the next morning, and washing my hair, it feels nice and soft, as if an intensive treatment has been used. At $24, and with just a small bottle with 50ml, one can think that it’s a little expensive, however, even in my long hair, only a pump or two is required for the ends, so the bottle does last quite long, even using twice a week as I have been. I love this product, and the fact that its so easy to use. I have plenty of other time consuming routines, and at times I simply havent got time for leaving a hair treatment in my work for sufficient time to work. With this overnight crème, everything is sorted while I get my beauty sleep, so I will definitely be buying this again.
