Lovely mask that doesn't weigh hair down!

I use it when I’m planning on doing a blow dry and combined with the Wella High Hair spray I have been getting rather fabulously volumised do with just a blow-dryer and round brush! (or the VS Big Hair Styler at the moment!)

I like how Wella has designed this range to suit individual needs. After filling out a survey about my hair concerns, I acquired my own personalised prescription consisting of the System Professional Volumize Mask, along with a shampoo and conditioner. It provides a tailor-made selection of complementary salon products to use in the comfort of my own home. The mask claims to strengthen and stabilitate from the core, whilst creating more volume for fine hair. Another appealing feature of this mask was it claimed to protect hair against humidity, which is something I have never come across before and living in tropical North Queensland I think my hair generally takes a beating from the extreme humidity we experience almost all year round.

The mask was by far my favourite product in this Wella range. It is housed in a stylish rectangular tub, presenting an ultra thick, creamy, paste like formula that had a delectable fruity aroma. The thickness of the solution made it easy to spread through the lengths of my hair without dribbling down my face so I could leave it on for as long as I wanted. As per the directions though, 5 minutes is all that is required to allow the mask to perform a deeply penetrating treatment to my locks. It rinses out with ease and instantly left my hair softer than ever before.

Upon drying, I immediately noticed my hair looked and felt much thicker and more voluptuous. This newfound bulk didn’t fall flat during the day either, the extra volume just lasted and lasted. After just two treatments with this weightless mask, I could also notice that my hair was feeling stronger and healthier, in turn, this really fattens up my locks and it just doesn’t look fine and limp anymore.

I would highly recommend this mask to any fellow thin haired beauties; it does deliver on its promises and unveils new-look hair that is softer, fuller and much stronger. The best part is I have finally found the winning product to help defeat this fight against hair humidity hell ;)

Gave my Hair Volume.

I have been using the Wella SP System Professional Volume mask for intensive care for fine hair treatment mask in conjunction with the SP system Professional Balance Scalp Shampoo and the SP Hydrate System Professional Conditioner for the past two weeks and have noticed a considerate difference in the condition of my hair.

The SP System Professional Volumize mask has sleek packaging that looks fancy and is a very practical design, which makes it easy to distinguish from the other hair care products, especially when I am showering. It comes in a 200mls square, plastic container with a deep purple resealable lid, which is quite nifty and easy to manage.

I suggest that you read the directions before first using this mask, so that you are aware that you need to leave the mask on for five minutes for best results. As soon as I opened the tub, I was pleasantly surprised at the fragrance that awakened my senses. It is just gorgeous and makes the whole experience very comforting. I found the texture to be lightweight and I liked how it felt when I applied it to my hair. After rinsing off the mask, my hair felt stronger, softer and more manageable. I also noticed it hair had lots of volume.

Va va volume!!

I received this to trial by beautyheaven (thanks!!) and was super excited to try it as volume is something I have always seriously lacked in my long, fine hair even though I have heaps of hair. The pot was a little tricky in the shower and I probably would have preferred it to be in a flip top bottle.

I applied this as instructed to freshly washed, towel tried hair and applied it to my roots and lengths and left it in for 5 minutes. I was surprised at how easily this rinsed out as normally masks require a fair amount of rinsing especially in long hair like mine.

Afterwards I blow-dried my hair lifting it at the roots. The volume I had afterwards was amazing and my blow-dry lasted a day longer than it normally would.

The scent is very fresh, not perfumey or over-powering which I really appreciated. The packaging is quite simple but has a professional look to it.

I would definitely re-purchase this at $34 for 200ml, especially in conjunction with the other great Wella products I trialled along with it, Balance shampoo and Hydrate Conditioner.
