So, you've just dropped a whole week's budget on a glossy new hair colour. Now guarantee it stays that way. Find out which colour-locking products Bh members count on to keep their locks looking lustrous for longer…

Paul Mitchell Colour Protect Reconstructive Treatment, from $27.95
"Call me stingy, but there's no way I want to see my new colour investment slipping down the drain. That's why I'd trade my soul for a winter-long supply of this stuff. Infused with nourishing sunflower extracts and UV protection to help stop sun bleaching, this weekly treatment also drips with hydrolysed wheat and vegetable protein to fortify hair structure and stop colour pigments escaping. Essential." Rating: 4/5 – Tracey

That looks interesting. I would certainly invest the money in something that keeps me from constantly colouring my hair.

This looks good, and it sounds (somewhat?) natural too.

Has anyone tried Paul Mitchel? I've not. I use L'Oreal Vitamino for this purpose.

I have never heard of this brand before, and it's also a bit on the expensive side for me. A splurge for me is spending $11
on a conditioner and my husband didn't get it as he gets his in a big pump and it's lasted more then 2 years and it's only a quarter used so he thought I spent to much on the frieda conditioner and suggested I get mine at his place. Mind you he is very balding and I cross the line at $2 conditioner, I did that once and it took around three years before I could get my hair the way it is now. It totally wrecked my hair. But I certainly couldn't afford to pay thirty dollars for a conditioner plus hubbys heart wouldn't take it.

The weekly treatment sounds perfect for my over-treated hair. What a juicy review - thanks Tracey!
