When you’re taking your hair from brunette to blonde, one question always comes up – do blondes have more fun? Sure, it’s a fun notion to consider (and even put to the test), but for the person undergoing the colour change (in this case, me) there is a much more important question to consider…
Will going blonde ruin the quality of my hair?
According to a survey conducted by Wella Professionals in the USA and Germany, the biggest barrier that stands in the way of women colouring their hair is the perception that the colour damages their hair. 90 percent of colour clients believe it very important that the colour doesn’t damage their hair, while 66 percent of clients who colour their hair blonde want a gentle experience.
Which is exactly why Wella Professionals have formulated Blondor, a portfolio of blonde shades with the ability to lighten up to seven levels on both natural and coloured hair, while simultaneously conditioning and treating the hair. As a result, the colour is gentle on your hair, leaving it looking and feeling healthy, shiny and of course, blonder!

I agree with jatz - the blonde is lovely and soft of your skintone Deb. Thanks for posting this video - it was great to watch! It's also good to know that the blonde colours are getting much more refined and perfected by companies like Wella. This Blondor product sounds wonderful - I'll tell my sister about this one - she's always bleaching her hair!

Deb's hair does look great but it is a much easier process to go blonde from a mid-tone brown like Deb's, which she has only had for a few months. I am a natural blonde, and went brunette for 3 years. I had very dark chocolatey brown hair and went to the hairdressers every 4 weeks to touch-up my pale roots. Unfortunately when I made the decision to go back to blonde earlier this year, it was a much more difficult process. If only it was always this easy to change your hair colour.

well i have never completely dyed my hair.. i have always been blonde and kind of a straw blonde as it gradually gets darker so i try to put a few highlights every so often to get a little extra burst of colour...
i am keen to try out brunette one of these days though... :)

That loooks just great on you Deb! I had naturally blonde hair and did the worlds greatest shave about 4years ago in high school. When my hair started to grow back i was dying it a dark red-brown (close to black!). Although i thought it looked great for the 2years i did it, i soon realised that my pale skin was washed out and decided to go blonde. There is nothing harder than going from a colour with a red base to blone because red stains your hair and turns blonde brassy and yellow! It was a hard process but if you have a good hairdresser and patient it will happen. I am so happy with my blonde hair now!

I think blonde looks best on you deb. Dont get me wrong, the brunette was nice. But I guess i'm used to you more as a blonde! Also, its nice and light for summer :) I always like to go lighter in summer and something darker/warmer in winter :)
