Avocado and Calendula Re-Moisturising Conditioner
- Overall rating:
Al'chemy Avocado and Calendula Re-Moisturising Conditioner is for dry hair. A concentrated blend of certified organic Australian pure cold pressed avocado oil rich with complex nutrients, combined with extracts of calendula, creates a deeply moisturising conditioning crème. The plant protein works to seal in moisture while a special rapeseed (GMO free) detangler smoothes and silkens each hair. The result is hair, which is smooth, manageable and healthy.

I didn't mind the whole natural part for trying this product, being chemical free and all, but for my oily roots and dry ends this didn't work for me. Made my roots extra oily and had to wash my hair more often than needed. Not suitable for all hair types

I have been using this product for ages aftre first discovering it about 2 years ago and I have never looked back. The natural formula softens my hair so well and leaves a great shine.
Because it doesn't foam due to the lack of parabens and sulphates you may find that you need to use a little more than usual to get the coverage you want.
Thin, fine and weak long hair

Not suitable for everyone
It gives a chemical less natural sense after your shower, which helps to nurture your hairs if already your hairs are healthy. But if you are suffering from excessive hair loss you should avoid this product because it will not nourish your hairs from the roots.
Use it after shampoo.

Not for me
This is a great range because it is natural. But I am not a great fan of their hair products as I felt it made my hair oily at the roots and the ends were still quite dry and course.

My daughter has dry wavy hair that gets very knotty, this a rich conditioner that does the job. Has a great creamy texture and natural smell. Love the natural ingredients in all the Alchemy product. The price is also good for such a quality product.
Great to leave in as treatment too.
Good for dry hair

Not a fan
I did not like this product at all. I have long chemically treated hair and this did not moisturise my hair at all.

A good natural conditioner
This conditioner is a good rich consistency and is easily distributed through the hair. It leaves my hair soft and manageable. It conditions adequately, but my dry hair wanted more. I found that the Avocado and Calendula were overpowered by Geranium oil. And I am not a huge fan of Geranium oil. This conditioner would be best for normal to slightly dry hair.

great for normal hair
This is a beautiful product for those of you lucky enough to have relatively undamaged hair. It's not rich enough for my stressed mess but I love using it on the kids. Leaves their hair shiny and tangle free.
Those without too much damage.

Not bad, but could have been better...
I used this conditioner for a long time, and found that although it was fairly effective, my hair ended upp feeling a bit wiry and lack-lustre. I also I started to become a bit 'over' the herbal cardamom scent after a while. Not sure that I'll be going back to this one.

Unfortunately this product did not live up to my expectations. Even though i only applied it from half-way down my head, it left my roots oily rather than conditioned, and weighed my hair down. Try using very smll amounts
