Relatively straight and very smooth

This combo (shampoo and conditioner) is amazing! Since using it my hair has been less frizzy, more moisturised and much much easier to style. In fact styling time has halved as half the work is done. I have naturally curly and frizzy hair and this just smooths it out and makes it more tame and turns my frizzy curls to smooth waves. I absolutely adore it!

Heaven in a bottle

Recommended to me by other bh members

i needed a good straightening shampoo and conditioner as i was sick of using my straightener all the time. i discovered a thread on bh were other members were discussing an recommending herbal essence. so i decided to try it as its not too expensive as well.

Dangerously Straight?

I haven't exactly achieved dangerously straight hair with this shampoo and conditioner combo. It was more like soft, shiny hair which I could achieve with any other shampoo and conditioner. The fragrance however is soooooooo ahhh-mazing! Love!

Silky Style

Herbal Essences Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner are both excellent to use if I know I am going to straighten my hair. The coating from the conditioner seems to help your hair become silky smooth when you use a heating iron on it. A beautiful aroma comes from your hair, the product smells aromaticly calming. I do recommend this product for those who want a silky smooth style.

Dangerously awesome!

I have used this product in the past and It has always kept my hair straight. It is cheap and economical, which I always look for in a shampoo and conditioner.

Keeps my hair straight

This is my favourite shampoo and conditioner it keeps my hair straight and prevents it from frizzing. Also it has a very nice fragrance and it smelt just like what the bottle says!

nice

I don't think this shampoo & cond is meant to make your hair straight, prob just targeted towards those with straight hair. When I used this I had curly/more wavy hair and the products worked effectively in that they cleaned my hair, didn't strip it too much and left it smelling nice!

(sniffs) ahhhh

Smells sooo good! I found the straightening effect only worked when I first started using this. Leaves my hair shiny and smooth so I will continue to use. I've already purchased Long Term Relationship because it was on sale and I've read that it's just as good! I only wish that the scent would stay in my hair for longer.

LOVE IT

My hair naturally is wavy/ straight. I don't like straightening my hair as split ends occur very quickly. I used Herbal Essence thinking definitely it wasn't going to work but after my first use my hair showed immediate results.

leaves hair smooth

My hair's already pin straight so I don't know if it's really doing anything for me however I did notice a difference , my hair was easier to brush and a lot less tangles. My hair was definitely left smoother, the smell is very pleasant and smells fresh and fruity.

Worth getting.

Works well. I will admit, the best thing about it is the beautiful smell. I found that I didn't need to wash my hair nearly as much as I did using other shampoos, and people would touch my hair declaring how soft it was. Although I don't use it now (I like trying new things) I would recommend it.

Made my hair feel and look amazing.

I already have straight hair but I gave this product a go just for the sake of trying something new one day and it really did make my hair appear even straighter and had the most beautiful smell I've found in a shampoo/conditioner. Very happy with this product :)

this must be what heaven smells like

This shampoo and conditioner smell absolutely amazing! And it stays around for a few days until you wash it next! It lasts for ages and i have really long hair so i was very impressed by that, i felt like i didn't need much shampoo it lathers up really well. As for the straight part, my hair is curly/wavy and this did help i think with smoothing the bit of frizz i get and make my hair feel really soft and light, but it didn't really make my hair any straighter. I will be purchasing it again though for the smell and because it lasts me a while. Its great quality for the price, especially when its on sale its only like $4.50ish!

Smells from heaven

Oh my gosh this shampoo and conditioner smell great!! I get so many compliments when I use this. It's also affordable and it lasts me ages!! I have quite long hair so that is an important factor. It didn't do too much for straightening but it did make my hair less frizzy and more smooth and easier to straighten! Will purchase again when it's on special.

SMELLS SO NICE

Oh my gosh it smells amazing!!!! I dont especially love what it does to my hair as it doesnt do anything specifically different to my hair but it makes it my hair smell AWESOME!

Sensational shampoo

Wonderful fragrant and lathery shampoo that is affordable.
It did make my hair a little straighter for 2 days after use, and I didn't need to spend as much time trying to control my frizz. I will buy this again if my hubbie promises to not use it all up!.

Too amazing

This make my so straight i don't even need to straighten it much!

Love the straighting

I must say i love the scent, and just the softness it give me hair, i've resently run out of it and find that my hair is not as easy to straighten and even frizzes a lot easyer, i brought a new one today and straightened my hair after using it, and it was like magic.

really works to help me straighten my hair

I have really curly hair and this product makes it so much easier in the mornings to straighten my hair quickly, The conditioner has also helped with split ends so if you put the conditioner in your hands and rub it through the tips of your hair it works awesome.
It also makes my hair really soft.

Smells amazing and helps to create poker straight styles!

This is by far the most delicious smelling variety of Herbal Essences...I just can't stop touching and smelling my hair after using it. It's supposed to be honeyed pear but actually reminds me of strawberries and tropical fruits without the sickly sweet aroma. The packaging colour is great (LOVE hot pink) and I find this product reallty helps to smooth frizz and keep my hair richly moisturised and ready for styling. It's a terrific product and I'll definitely repurchase it. I only wish it came in a larger sized bottle as hubby likes using it too (even though he's almost bald) and I seem to have to buy a new one every fortnight. Highly recommended especially for long hair that's a bit dry.

Great Smell

This is another winner for Herbal Essence. I have tried nearly all of the range and so far this is my favourite. Not sure if it makes my hair any straighter as I have only been using it for a week. The shampoo is great but does leave my hair feeling dry so you definitely need the conditioner afterwards. The conditioner is nice and creamy and leave my hair feeling nice and moisturised. I also don't feel like i am getting a build up of conditioner. For the price it is a pretty great product I will definitely keep using Herbal Essence products.

Didn't do what it promised, but..

I purchased this because I was curious about what it would do to my straight-yet-wavy hair. While it didn't do much to straighten my hair, it smelled great and the scent lingered in my hair till the next wash. The conditioner was also very rich and left my hair smooth til the next day.

PERFECT!!!

Along with Schwarzkopf's Extra Care Oil Nutritive shampoo and conditioner, this Herbal Essences S&C is my favourite! It literally makes my hair so so so smooth and silky that I have no knots even when I get out of the shower! Love this so much!!!

Lovely

As always- Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners smell lovely. Not sure if my hair was easier to straighten, but everytime I used these products my hair looked lovely freshly straightened!!

Herbal Essences

The shampoo and conditioner aren't bad, but nothing special. Its not particularly smoothing, but it does smell nice. I still prefer and repurchase the original Herbal Essences to be honest, they come in bigger bottles which I prefer too.

Straight, Silky, Smooth

i love herbal essences and i think that this actually does make my hair straighter. It made it look thinner (i have really thick hair) and straghter compared to when i used another conditioner. considering i dont have a hair straightener right now, this product is good for me. It made my hair silky and smooth and really nice.

Good conditioner!

What a delicious smelling conditioner! Very thick, rich and creamy conditioner. Its quite moisturising and nourishing but I have to say that the best thing about it is the smell. At such an affordable price and convenient places to purchase, this is a great product!

Sort of straight

Not sure that I got a whole heap of straightening action out of this S&C combo but it does an awesome job of making my hair more manageable and shiny. I guess it did also make it easier to style with straightening iron and way less frizzies and flyaways.
Leaves my hair really soft and silky feeling and it smells delish. Worth a shot

Mmm smells so nice!!

I loved this so much after using it overseas I bought it immediately when I came back. It smells delicious and leaves my hair feeling beautifully soft and really shiny! I love it!!!
