Why I am not getting points for my comments in forum!!

No I posted a couple of times earlier today and noticed it wasn’t giving me points so I made the initial post in this thread Meedee. ;))

And what do you know? I got 2 points for the above post. Haha

I’m a lurker and I’m not getting points to posting on the forum either. There’s some technical issue here I think.

Yep, it’s capped forever. With the recent site changes, everyone’s forum count restarted. I’ve also hit my forum cap. Like Duck says, it stops unnecessary chatter. The forum would get congested with drivel (like it sometimes gets with spam) if there was no cap.

I’m pretty sure it’s capped. I think that’s a good thing; probably to stop people from making extraneous commentary for point scoring rather than to contribute to community conversation.

I have the same problem and haven’t been receiving any points in forum recently, are they capped, I don’t know.

Yes I did get one point ther it’s just forum where I am not getting points I thought that cap thing was per month or year but someone said its 50 posts , so I hope I am not going to get any points ever in forum!

Sue, did you receive a point for commenting in the Competition for Win 1 of 10 Eye of Horus Feather Goddess Giftpack? I got 1 point for commenting.

I have been doing alot of reviews to get points, i didnt know about the forum limit though. I am new to forums.

You don’t earn any points for forum comments past 100 points, at least, that was the system for the previous BH before the changes. You can send an email to the BH staff to make sure though, if you wish.

You can find other ways to earn points, like I mentioned, you can still comment on all the articles or review products!
