Not receiving points

I’m not having a problem with not receiving points for posting in a forum – exceeded my 50 points cap a long time ago!

BUT I have just noticed that my forum comments are not appearing on ‘My beautyheaven’ member account and haven’t been appearing since 10th March.

They would appear under a heading ‘You replied to forum topic’ and list what I’d written and awarding me 0 points with my running points total.

No biggie, but wondered if anyone else has noticed this (seems to have happened the same day we are now given 2 points for returning to the site) – I sometimes refer back to that ‘history’ if I’m looking for a recent comment I made to return to that forum – which is how I’ve discovered it!

Mine has stopped recording my forum posts too, probably a way of BH doing some ‘house keeping’? Makes it easier to keep track of what we are earning I suppose.

I guess it makes sense to remove it as originally, all forum posts counted towards your points (which is why I had a huge amount of points at the first beautorium). Now there is a small cap on forum points they don’t really need to be shown as adding 0 to your points total 😛

But I too wish that there was a better way to find threads that you’ve previously posted in. I often have to use the dodgy search function (the small one at the top, not the big main one) to search the forums. The big one doesn’t search in the forums. But honestly I think this particular erm “brand” of forum (totally the wrong word to use) is not very common/popular and is probably pretty hard to code & integrate into the rest of the site so I understand. Besides, we come here for the content 😛

The +2 points for returning to the site is a bit weird though, I mean i’m not complaining since I don’t often find the time to review products, haha. I do wonder if that’s permanent though.

Yep this is the same for me, I was glad someone pointed it out

If you look on the left hand side when you see your stream, it says My Beauty Heaven,
Underneath that it says reviews, then posts.
So you can still find your forum posts and view post there.

I’ve just noticed I’ve not received my points for starting a new thread for my last 2 new threads. As far as I can work out I’m still a fair way off reaching the starting thread cap. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi, Dorme, I got points yesterday for the congratulations to Coco thread but my love button works intermittently – comes up on My Beauty Heaven but not always when I press it – and I do only press the love for something I feel is worth it – and as this is such a lovely place there are lots and lots of things I love!!

I’ve just noticed I’ve not received my points for starting a new thread for my last 2 new threads. As far as I can work out I’m still a fair way off reaching the starting thread cap. Has anyone else had this problem?
