That’s good advice from Helenexxx suggesting to add the chia seeds after your smoothie is blended because they do stick and are difficult to get out of the blender. I add chia seeds to baked (home made) goods like muffins and breads or sprinkle them over a salad or any dish really. Even sprinkled over chicken tastes quite nice or in soups. Add them to a cheese sandwich, the cheese will make them stick.

really good read 🙂 Best Nutri Bullet Recipes in 2016
    Popeye’s Smoothie Drink

    This is my regular drink.
Bananas easily mask any aftertaste of vegetables. Chia seeds helps with proteins and have powerful antioxidants. Water can be used to control the viscosity of your Nutri blast drink.
    Ingredients:
    • A handful of spinach
    • 1/2 Banana
    • 1 tsp of chia seeds – feel free to add more to suit your taste
    • Cinnamon spice (optional) – add a dash of cinnamon to alter taste
    • Water to the max line – Want to try a different flavor to your smoothies? Try almond milk
Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly. Buy baby spinach by the bulk and store them in the fridge for later use. Peel the banana and cut it in half. Keep the other half for later use. Add these ingredients in your cups starting with spinach, then the banana, chia seeds then add water to the max line.
Ever since I’ve learned how to make plant-based milks, I’ve been consuming them daily and have replaced my consumption of dairy milk with almond milks. I’m using almond milk as the liquid base instead of water for added flavor and nutrients.
    Blend for a few seconds.

Chia seed pudding! You can make any flavour you want! I love making mine with coconut milk/cream, cocoa powder and shredded coconut, and Stevia (all natural sweetener)… the perfect low carb dessert. You can add berries on top too or nuts and seeds… or make Chia Seed balls (there are tons of recipes online just Google them). So yummy and super healthy!!!

I love adding chia seeds to yogurt (when I am not so lazy some homemade granola in there too).
Chia seeds are great to add in overnight oats as well, you can add them just before you eat the meal too if you prefer them a little firmer.

I often add a teaspoon or two to my yoghurt it really makes it a filling snack, I usually eat it straight away (stirred through) sometimes with nuts and fruit on top.
If you leave the chia seeds for awhile you will need to add a splash of milk (or any type of liquid) as the chias soak the yoghurt up and it goes a bit dry (kind of hard to explain, although it is still enjoyable)

Honestly I love adding chia seeds to all of my smoothies, but a warning, add them at the end after smoothie has finished blending after you have transferred it to a glass. Because chia expand when put in liquid they will stick to the bottom of your blender and form a jelly thats hard to remove.
    Good luck x

Thanks for the tip Helenexxx, I ordered Blackmores Superfoods Raw Chia + Nature Boost Vital Nutrients through Beautorium.

I`ve tried chia pods from the supermarket & I thought they were gross, so I`m keep to try the Blackmores instead. I think it`s a powder.
