Initially, I was unsure whether I wanted to be in the lucky dip but decided I would and then like many others with gold points could not log in to the mini beautorium because of a glitch. No worries it sort of made up my mind to save my points.
I think there is a problem with communication regarding special events. If it wasn’t for other kind forumettes posting info. I would not have known when the mini beautorium was on or when it was over or that I should look at the small beauty buzz chaser to find the information or to go to competitions. Kudos to those that worked it out. I would not have thought to look at competitions, because to me this is a special one off event and it was announced in the Beautorium section so that is where I would expect to find updated info, and I would have thought that something like this that creates such a lot of interest would be in big banners on the home page. Why not have a regularly updated section named something like “BH Special Announcements” or something like that
I now know what to do,but what about down the track, will Newbies have to scour forums to find out what is happening. Some people do not join forums and just read the articles and do reviews, it took me ages before I actually got up the nerve to be involved in forums. Many people are time poor these days and it can be very frustrating when you can’t find important things.
This sounds like whingeing, but it is really just a call to make things clearer. I had decided against doing the lucky dip, after not being able to log in but I know there are plenty of people who wanted to be in it and missed out. The ladies at BH do a great job, the information is usually somewhere. It seems to me that all that is needed is to make sure the signposts are obvious.
