Nail Art for beginners

I was looking through IndieAna’s blog last night and saw some gorgeous nail art. Any tips or links for beginners? I have short-medium length nails and probably won’t be able to grow them long while in the health field (infection control). Plus, I should add that I’m not very creative or talented. Many thanks 🙂

I find videos to be extremely helpful as opposed to reading instructions on blogs because some steps can become quite confusing and it’s just easier to view the method.
I find ‘cutepolish’ (https://www.youtube.com/user/cutepolish/videos) and ‘MissJenFABULOUS’ (https://www.youtube.com/user/MissJenFABULOUS/videos) to be very informative, especially for beginners! They incorporate easy steps to follow and the result is pretty impressive! ‘Janelle Estep’ (https://www.youtube.com/user/elleandish/videos) has really pretty and amazing nail art, but her videos might be a little challenging for beginners. Nonetheless, it’s definitely possible for you to follow!
The Nailasaurus is a popular blog that features tutorials on nail art and her own designs are simple yet artistic, it’s a great read.
Hope you find these links helpful (:

I echo rose-petals, The Nailsaurus is a good blog to read, I’ve picked up some good tips from her + she also has some good Youtube videos too.

I also read So Nailicious as well – Maria’s designs aren’t too complicated, plus I’ve picked up a lot of good tips from her too (and a love of Essie’s Good To Go top coat). She had a post a while back about tips for nail art beginners, it might be helpful to you. Here’s the link: http://sonailicious.com/best-nail-art-tips-strawbrie-salon/

And her tag for easy nail art: http://sonailicious.com/tag/easy-nail-art/

Believe me, I’m not creative or talented either – I’m still getting the hang of basic nail art, but I am inspired by simple creations.
