Has anyone purchased beauty products on Scoopon?

No I have never thought to do this

I have brought a fair few beauty products on Scoopon and I was happy with the product, I purchased a lot of NP set make up and the quality was great, packaging was all in order and the stock was not old.
I also got a deal on veet wax on scoopon and the quality was exactly the same as what I get from the chemist, it was not old stock and it worked the same. The deal was well worth it.

I have been tempted by some of the deals on Groupon, but I have not given in and bought any beauty products for them. They had a really amazing lanolips offer recently, but then I tried lanolips in store and I don’t think it’s for me (not really into lip glosses)

I bought a gold mask from a group buy site three years ago, it was a nightmare! the seller wasn’t paid and I didn’t get my stuff. I had to go through ACCC to get my refund, which took 6 months.
And then there was this weightloss/ exercise website that was lame, and Living Social did not want to refund me even though the owner said okay. I did a FB complain and they finally refunded me.
Bottom line is… don’t

Hayley I have noticed previously Scoopon was selling a range of Strivectin products, those were discontinued (2 years old at least).

I also noticed it sold a range of Clarins products but from the pictures they look like old packaging – and Clarins has changed all the packaging so many years ago I could not even remember how long ago was that!

I would not buy them as they seem really old products (if not already out of date)
