Follow This Thread

This might seem silly to create a thread for this but I didn’t realise it was there until darling jatz pointed it out so there could be other beauties who haven’t realised.

In all the changes I completely overlooked this and it is a great option.

To keep up with threads you are especially interested in, Lift Esteem for me you just need to click on the FOLLOW THIS THREAD bar at the top of each thread. You then get any new posts for that thread in your message box next to your user name.

Have to agree that it is difficult to keep up with the threads these days. Sometimes I see something in latest go and do a posting, forget to mark it as “follow this thread” and then I have no idea which thread it was, especially as there are a few duplicate subjects.

I can well understand keeping up with the threads you follow. It takes me forever now in BH to keep up with them. I do miss some and catch up a few days later.

Great news on the job Kassalee – that’s wonderful for you and absolutely well deserved. Sounds like you are enjoying it too.

Thank-you for pointing that out!!! I didn’t realise it either!!!!

I do love how we sort of go off topic – it’s wonderful with people being interested in each other. Thanks, Kassalee, for updating – so pleased for you, you really deserve the success and enjoyment of your job.

I’m sorry, but I didn’t say thank you to talk-a-lot on the previous page for saying thank you to me. Pleased you’ve found this helpful, talk-a-lot, especially when I wasn’t sure I should create the thread in the first place.

I’ve deliberately kept my threads to follow to a workable number but that also means I miss things at times!

Wondering how Kassalee is going – definitely gold star for sure 🙂

Up late tonight tweaking my presentation of the bh website to my classmates at TAFE tomorrow. How can I ever explain the website in 3 to 5 minutes!

  • 8 yrs, 9 mths ago

So pleased it’s been useful, Shop A Everyday!

Kassalee, that is impressive with the TAFE course – thanks so much for the explanation. Well done on getting to this point and it’s great that you’ve found others with interests that you want to keep in touch.

Let’s know how your presentation goes – LOVED you doing BH for research!!!!

Trish you have done a wonderful service creating this thread and I can see that it’s been helpful to many who have commented (and probably many more that haven’t).

It’s an excellent way to keep a track of our favourite forums (until we get HOT TOPICS back!) in the interim.

This whole new website was quite a lot to take in – when testing last weekend it was like being a kid in a candy store – I didn’t know where to look and kept getting distracted by different things!

But I had to try and take it all in as soon as possible as I’m presenting the beautyheaven website to my TAFE class of 10 (although we’ve been down to 6 students the last week!) – it’s only a 5 minute presentation on the computer as well as producing a 1 page flyer.

We were told of this assessment a month ago and were to pick a favourite, well used website to share with the class (what else, but beautyheaven!) and then bh announces a new website is coming! Thankfully it’s all in place now and I can present it this Wednesday.

Thanks heaps Trish for pointing this out, it is a new feature I did not realize BH forums had.
