Daiso beauty

I’m creating a new thread on daiso beauty products 🙂 Has anyone tried any beauty related products/tools and what were your hit or misses?

Personally i really like their brush and puff detergent and their makeup cotton pads. I also used their eyelash curler which is perfect for my Asian eyes (normal eyelash curlers are usually too ‘steep’ and don’t fit my flat eyes). Their nail polish top coat was ok but the brush was stained by my two coats of nail color because the bristles were too hard so I stopped using it. A miss i had was their translucent powder. It was so shimmery i looked like a vampire under sunlight.

Please share your experiences with daiso because you can really find some hidden gems for only $2.80

So far I’ve only ever used their cotton puffs and they’ve become my new HG! A bit small but I love them way more than the cotton rounds by Swisspers and the Priceline homebrand one. These actually hold together a lot better so l don’t find myself having to pick threads off my eyelashes & nails, which is a huge relief!

I love the daiso charcoal mask which helps a lot with my excess oily skin and whiteheads too

Another vote for the puff detergent =) I swear that thing works magic.

I have the brow pencil in gray, and two of their eyeshadow quads. I find that the pencil doesn’t really do much for me, but that might be because I have thick brows anyway. The neutral colour palette is lovely.

I might give the eyelash curler a try if I ever go there again sometime soon. That, and the blotting paper.

Daiso Natural Nose Pack Mask Cleanser Blackhead Remover is super effective on getting rid of the blackhead but the disadvantage is you have to bear the pain when you tear the mask off when dry. Facial Water Pack Jelly AHA Peeling Gel Removing Cuticles is another great product I would use as it would get rid of the dead skin cells from your skin and your skin will get smoother after that

i love Daiso, everything for $2.80 and some of the items actually good value for money too. In terms of beauty product that i’ve tried, i love their make up brush cleaner, eyeliner sealer (put it on top of your eyeliner to prevent it smudging an straying), nail polish remover and baby wipes!

I love their cotton pads, they don’t fall apart, or leave fluffy bits on your face. They are also a slightly thinner than swispers, so you don’t need to use as much eye make-up remover, toner, etc.

They also have really cute false eyelash holders.

I have their eyelash curler, eyebrow pencil in grey, collagen face masks and also own a bunch of their cute hair accessories. My favourite out of the bunch is definitely the eyebrow pencil, the formula and colour is really good for the cheap price tag. I’ve also used their face wipes before, and they’re surprisingly nice too.

Another vote for the brush cleanser. Bloody awesome stuff! I’ve bought the cotton pads too. Great value.

Unfortunately we don’t have Daiso here in Darwin (or anything else really, shopping is crappy!). I stock up when I go to Melbourne to visit family. There’s a lot of junk in there, but there’s some really awesome stuff too. My daughter in law and I usually browse in there for ages.

I wasn’t too keen on buying their makeup as I can’t read Japanese. I did buy their little scissors for my eyebrows (they’re the right size for my eyebrow kit), and organisers.
