Ten video and 90 written reviewers. Females aged between 25–54yrs with a family (including young children aged under 18) with any skin type (except those with strong sensitivities). Reviewers were advised to use Beach Defence in place of their existing sunscreen. They were also advised that lying in the sun is harmful and sun exposure should be avoided where possible between the hours of 10am and 2pm. Members were also encouraged to wear a hat and stay in the shade when out in the sun and apply Beach Defence liberally 15-20 minutes before sun exposure and again after swimming.

NEUTROGENA® Beach Defence™ Sunscreen Lotion is a lightweight sunscreen for the face and body that guards your skin, thanks to SPF50 broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. The easily absorbed lotion is water resistant, hypoallergenic and effective for up to four hours. Testers loved that this sunscreen didn’t irritate their skin or leave a greasy oil slick. While some people found the smell to be not of their taste, many people loved the non-traditional fruity scent. Testers were impressed with the easy-grip packaging and flip top opening, which meant that their sunscreen was easy to use and didn’t leak through their bag. While a few members found the sunscreen to be a bit sticky on their hands, most members thought the lotion softened and conditioned their skin while creating a barrier against the sun’s harmful rays.
