What is your all-time favourite skin care product?

Everyone has a favourite skin care product. Everyone. And guess what? We want to know the name of your fave!

Is it a cult skin care product like Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream or BIODERMA Créaline H20?

Is it something you used to watch your mum using when you were a child and now you can’t live without it either?

It doesn’t matter why you adore it, we just want to know what it is, why you love it and how long you’ve been using it for.

My favourite skin care product has to be Ella Bachè Special Eye Crème. My mum has been using Ella Bachè for over 20 years, and I’ve been using this eye cream since I was 18 after she introduced me to the brand. I seriously can’t live without it and its exceptional hydrating abilities.

OK, now it’s your turn! Share your top skin care product picks so we can add them to our shopping lists, too.

Definitely the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Skin Perfecting Liquid!

My skin looks divine a few hours after I’ve applied it!

Yeah it’s really, really hard to just pick one but if I had to (and was on a deserted island, you know the scenario!) it would be a lip balm with high SPF so I could rub it on my lips which tend to get dry every day and also use it for around my eye area so I’d get some SPF there while on that island!!

Oh so hard!!! I do love La Prairie’s eye concealer, it is a brush one and it comes with a second refill

My answer would have been different just a few day ago, but I have fallen in love with Neutrogena’s hydro boost water gel! I began using it whe I recieved a sample in the mail, I love not only it’s hydrating abilities but also how it feels on my skin and how cool and refreshing it is!

I also love macadamia oil which I use for everything hair and skin care related!

Hey Coconut, how does the Neutrogena hydro boost water gel compare to other popular moisturizers you might have used such as Cetaphil? I’m curious coz I have super dry skin and am always on the lookout for something to help with that. So far only Cetaphil seems to be working. Gahh.

I too have extremely dry skin and the water gel did not help, if anything it made my skin feel tighter! I have been loving FAB ultra repair cream (you can get it with free shipping from adore beauty, arrives fast too) although it’s more pricer than the alternatives but definitiely worth it!

For extremely dry and sensitive skin, I recommend Indeed Labs Hydraluron. You use it after cleansing and toning, but before using your usual serums and moisturisers. I’m halfway through my second tube already! It’s not the cheapest, about 35 dollars for 30ml, but you only need a pea-sized amount each time

Hydralonic acid is a must have for skin hydration. I’ve heard of this product and have been thinking of giving it a try. Thank you for your suggestion I will give it a try now.

I have too many to pick a favourite out of everything I own but number 1 on my list lately has been my Mary Kay Botanicals face mask. For me I had to get one for oily/combination skin. After use my skin feels as soft as a baby’s bottom. I even got my fiance on to it too lol I’ve had it for about 4 years but I have been using it more in the last couple of months because I’ve realised the results it has on my skin. I’m hoping that when I finally run out that they still sell this particular mask. I recommend it to my friends all the time.

This would NOT be my absolute number one choice if I never have to wear makeup, but considering that I DO have to wear makeup at times, I have decided that I cannot do without CosMedix mystic Hydrating Treatment. My skin dehydrates so quickly (because I have end-stage kidney failure), even after having used layers and layers of various serums and mositurizing creams, that if I don’t have this product, I can only imagine cleansing all my makeup and everything else off my face and starting from scratch again, 3 times a day, or more. CosMedix mystic Hydrating Treatnent spray is so handy – I can just use 2 sprays over my entire face (with the makeup on), whenever my skin feels dry, without disturbing all the makeup I have on underneath. And containing heavy water (ie, using deuterium atoms a.k.a. heavy hydrogen atoms instead of normal hydrogen atoms in the water), it does not evaporate away as quickly.
