What are important ingredients in products to prevent fine lines and wrinkles?

Hi beauties

I have recently noticed some fine lines around my eyes when I smile and I am freaking out.
In the past I haven’t paid too much attention to ingredients in products but I want to start paying more attention to what I am putting on my face.
I want to know what ingredients I should be looking for in my eye cream and night cream to prevent fine lines and wrinkles for as long as possible.

I think its important to look at the ingredients besides taking care of your daily activities.

Ingredients like licorice extract, gingko extract, amino acid will help to prevent sagging and wrinkles on your skin.

Other than that, this website has some great health tips for skin in 30s.

Have a look at the ingredients of the range that I use – Monsia Advanced Skin Renewal System, here is the website link http://www.monsiaskincare.com/monsia-advanced-skin-renewal-system.html It works for me and I am over 60! No lines around eyes, no wrinkles across forehead, no crepey throat, going to start using the night cream on my hands as well.

Don’t know what ingredients should be in any product …. but I know such product which can help to get rid of wrinkles…. It is Jarvis Cosmetics (JARVISCOSMETICS DOT COM).
It is first skin care products targeting skin immune system. Healthy skin immune system is the key of healthy skin… So by improving skin immune system, bacteria never returned…

Also we should drink plenty of water daily….
It is 3 liters/day for men and 2.2 liters/day for women.

Wow…Jessica Lee – Just read some of the reviews of your recommended products and they sound TERRIBLE. I guess that’s why you have to SPAM the products

Resveratrol is my fav. It’s also found in red wine, dark chocolate, red grapes etc. Apparently it is a great antioxidant for the skin (and an anti-cancer which is why they say a glass of red each night is good!)

I’ve also heard great things about Glabridin, an ingredient derived from licorice root.

All the vitamins are great too – vitamin C, B5 etc.

Premature wrinkles and lines and skin ageing are largely a result of what we put on the face. So many skin products and shampoos contain harmful, skin irritating, skin ageing ingredients and too frequent, too thorough cleaning harms and ages skin too.
First you need to tighten facial skin by partially opening mouth about 1″, pull lips firmly back against teeth and jut out chin. Virtually tightens all of face. One of main causes of aging is the weakening of facial muscles, which leads to sagging and in turn wrinkles and lines. Tightening face, exercises and conditions muscles and combats their weakening, then holding tightness as you vigorously massage further exercises and conditions them. You cannot do too vigorously at beginning but as muscles and skin adjusts you will quickly find you can make it more vigorous. Almost immediately you will see skin firming, looking and feeling smoother and tighter and any lines and wrinkles lessening. Skin will also develop a healthy, vital glow and you will quickly regain a considerably younger looking face. If focus massage on wrinkle prone areas like crows feet and those around mouth and massage repeatedly you will greatly diminish lines.
Essential oils will greatly prevent and counteract them forming. Cypress, rosewood, lavender, clove, bergamot are all very beneficial but they will only be effective if properly and thoroughly massaged into skin. I found after much research that quite vigorous massaging with these oils maintains skin youthfulness and greatly prevents/diminishes lines and wrinkles.
I found a very good product for myself is Kojic Acid with Vitamin C, it works by removing all the marks and making your skin smooth and removing the fine lines of wrinkles.

I looked at the link Melanie767. Things like not using hot water on your face makes sense. One must not use very cold water too. “Tepid” water is recommended. I think hot or very cold water affects the fine capillaries on my face thus causing them to “stand out”.

Thanks for sharing the link. I enjoyed reading it :).

Peptides including Snap-8, Matrixyl and Argireline, to relax facial muscles in a subtle botox like way, Hyaluronic acid to plump up fine lines and hydrate as well as acting as a catalyst for your other ingredients, Retinoids but be careful as they can be irritating, Antioxidants such as your C and E vitamins, plant stem cells and no more than 3% AHA’s are all the best ingredients for anti-ageing around the eye area. Trying to find a product with all of those ingredients is impossible because it’s too much of an overload and would burn your skin. Try a combination of Hyrdaluron and Eyesilix from Indeed Labs, for day and StriVectin retinol eye cream at night and that would be your best bet.

I would also recommend Eye-silix by Indeed Labs. It’s available from Priceline and is a great eye product that targets long and short term issues around the eyes.
