Hi everyone!
ok so we all love our precious paw paw ointment right? and its an absolute steal for the price!
I was just curious to know what kind of different things you guys use it for other than a lip balm?
I use it on my itchy bites, i find rubbing it on them and applying a bit of pressure stops the itchiness & stops me from scratching them :D
Me and my friends also rub it on our forheads when dying our hair so that we don’t stain our forheads.
Mum used it on my nappy rash as a baby lol.
and i rub it on my elbows and knuckles which get especially dry!

No i hate the petroleum based paw paw and it does not smell right..so I have purchased ‘Savana’ paw paw, it’s organic ..free of the nasties and petroleum…could not even contemplate putting petroleum on my lips..O.K..it comes from the oil..same diff…lol

Hi beautyjunkie sorry haven’t seen your other post about the suvana lip balm yet (slowly working my way thru!) but I bought it online from downtoearthorganics.com.au at the suggestion of another BH member – if you do a search on suvana in the forums you’ll see she gave a list of a few websites to purchase it from… :)

Oh and back to the question at hand, I use pawpaw on mozzie bites (stops the itch and helps heel them – even the MASSIVE ones I got in Thailand from being on the beach at night!), also use it on and aroudn my nose when it gets red and sore when I’m sick, used to use it on my lips til I got the suvana one.

My 12mth old gets eczema in patches on his body and quite badly under his chin and on his face. I apply it on him and it really takes the burn out. Calms the itch and redness.

I use it for just about everything mentioned. I also used it to prevent stretch marks before I found out about palmers stretch mark cream. I was told to use it by a pharmacist. Don’t really know if it worked or not. I didn’t use it long enough. I used to use it for itchy bites but now use paraderm plus instead. It stops the itching quicker.

I just bought my first tube a couple of days ago and have been using it on my lips and elbows which are really dry. I hadn’t heard about the petroleum in it but will check it out. Having a look at the bare neked beauty website now. Great to have all these extra uses for it though, will definitely try them out

I use it as a lip balm, as a barrier applicaction around eyes and nose in really windy conditions and for air tavel, for cuts and skin infections, and it’s FANTASTIC to apply after shaving to prevent in growns esp. around the bikini line.

http://www.lucaspapaw.com.au. This is the Lucas’ Paw Paw Official Website. I found it very informative with regards to the Petroleum issue. I have only just purchased the product and to be honest the main reason I got it was that Grazier Mag listed it in one of their must haves….glad I did – I LOVE it!
