Tips to beautiful skin

Hello lovelies!

I read a lot of posts about natural remedies and methods people use to achieve better skin, and I thought of sharing my methods with anyone who wants to do it the old-fashioned way or as I call it, the natural way. I hope you find this helpful and just to say, I have sensitive skin so everything that will be listed is safe to use!

• Apple Cider Vinegar and water.
A teaspoon of water and a teaspoon of ACV, mix together and stir gently then put into the fridge to cool a little. After you cleanse, apply the liquid to your face with a cotton ball. Let the mixture dry using a fan and once completely dry, apply your moisturiser or night cream. After about a week or so, you’ll notice a glow in your complexion and your skin will be soft and almost flawless, evenly-toned and less redness and pimples visible.
– The water neutralises the acidity of the ACV and makes it friendly for the skin.
– Cooling the mixture helps minimise pores.

• Ice
Use ice in the morning after cleansing to give your face a brighter, more glowing and refreshed look. After a long, tiring night, if you apply ice under your eyes (stings, but worth it) you’ll notice the darkness fading a little and the puffiness gone.
– Ice closes pores after cleansing and tightens the skin, giving it a natural lift.

• Water with mint leaves (dried or fresh)
Drinking water is important and it is a must for your skin, but it doesn’t taste nice so you don’t feel encouraged to drink. Applying mint leaves not only gives it a better taste, but mint helps cleanse your stomach and clear your skin faster than water by itself. I know this because I do it, and I notice my skin becoming clearer and more glowing. I always get people asking me about what BB cream or foundation I use, and I put nothing on because I don’t have time in the morning.
– Mint leaves also assist in gradual weight management.

• Green Tea and Mint leaves (dried or fresh)
Same benefits as water, only green tea and mint leaves combined actually work to trim a few around your waist, hips and wrists. They give you a healthier and more youthful skin, but they’re also a perfect combo for those who are lazy (like me) and look for alternatives to lose weight… slowly.
– Drinking green tea at least 3 times a day is encouraged.
– Green tea helps destress and relax you, also helps you be able to feel positive and motivated. Trust me.

These are a few of the rituals I do and strictly follow. Hope you found it helpful! If you enjoyed and want more tips and reviews, let me know as I am obsessed with skin and natural remedies!

I love using apple cider vinegar on my face, it always leaves it super soft and healthy looking. I even mix it with water and drink it once in a while to get the health benefits on the inside, as well. Thanks for the other tips, I’m definitely trying them out soon!

I’ve heard of some people using apple cider and aspirin mixed together (it apparently makes a good toner)

I mix honey with mashed strawberries or L ascorbic acid. I swear, my face feels so smooth afterwards.

Other tips: Sunblock everyday, retinols, vitamin c serum, niacinamide (vit. b3), aha/bha

*I do homemade smoothies for breakfast and I’d have to say ever since i do that, my skin has never been clearer and glowing!
Really really rare occasion of breakouts, unless that time of the month and i feel fuller longer until lunch time.

I also add chia seeds and linseed meal to my smoothie so i think those help with my skin too.

Wow thanks! Nice to see more people doing it natural way 😀
I eat a lots of fruit, keeps me hydrated, my skin is as well glowing! Also I got golden tan from it (I do raw vegan diet for more than 3 years now), my sis started a year ago to eat more fruit and veg and her skin is now having golden glow like mine! People think we are in 20s (but both of us near 40!). The antioxidants and carotenoids from the fruit and veg is natural sunscreen too. I can not burn, but still do not bake, to avoid pigmentation (that apparently comes with the age).
Melts body fat too (excess of it ) and is extremely cleansing.
I also use ACV, but internally hehe…will try your tip! Especially around ‘that’ time in a month
