I see it when i go to the shops and it's cheap, simple and looks alright. Has anyone ever tried it? and is it good? I've never heard anything about it from other people so was just curious... =) thanks.
I tried their rebalance eye make up remover & it was ok. I used to use their Vitamin E eye make up remover & it was ok too, then they changed the formula & it stung my eyes. I'm thinking about giving their cucumber range a try, it has a money back guarantee so theres nothing to lose.
I have used their clay masque, it is really good. As good as the pricier masques easily.
I didn't know they had a money back guarantee! I think i may try it too. I hope i like it, it's cheaper than other stuff i've tried.
I love their cucumber scrub. The beads are nice and round so its gentle on my skin =) The texture is really nice too, hard to explain but its not overly grainy or anything. Hope that helps!
Wonder if Priceline do an eye cream? (as eye creams are expensive it would be nice to find a cheapy that works). Eskimo Bec does that scrub contain any bad ingredients like mineral oil (Paraffinum liquidum)?
Kat1, I don't think it contains mineral oil. It contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate which I know some people have problems with, but I'm not sure if it's bad for you or not? So many things are 'bad' for us these days we might as well all just smear honey on our faces! Anywho here's a full list of the ingredients:
Water, Decyl Glucoside, Glycerol, Polyethylene, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Hydroxyethyicellulose, Carborner, Phenoxyehtanol, Polyetylene (And) Chromium Hydroxide Green, Vaccinium, Myrtillus Extract (And) Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract (And) Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract (And) Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract (And) Citrus Medicia Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Methylchloroisothiazolinone (And) Methylisothiazolinone, Tococpheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance.
Phew! Can anyone make anything of that? It also says on the tube that you can return it to your nearest Priceline store for a full refund if the product doesn't meet your expectations =)
Thanks for that Eskimo Bec. I was shocked to discover the other day that my QV Face Exfoliating Polish contains paraffinum liquidum! Its listed as the third ingredient on the ingredients list. I would expect more from them to use it as one of their main ingredients so I will definitely give the Priceline Cucumber Scrub a try when I run out. I'm also tempted to try their clay mask after MiaKat's recommendation.
kat1: i've used their cucumber makeup remover towels. it's pretty good at removing makeup and decent priced :)
Thanks for the recommendation Harriet P, just have to wait about 3 months for my current stuff to run out lol.
Still trying to find out whether they sell decently priced eye cream. The Priceline Rebalance range has an anti-aging night cream with Q10, it would be good if they sold a matching eye cream.
Went to Priceline today, couldn't find Priceline eye cream. Bought the Priceline Cucumber Face Mask, which was alright, I liked that its main ingredient was Kaolin clay & that it had no nasties in it like mineral oil.
I use the cleanser and toner in one, which is meant to remove excess oil and its been good so far.it is a really creamy gel and when i rinse it off,my skin doesnt feel tight or dry, just nice and refreshed. the vitamin E cream i got because i heard how healing and anti-ageing vitamin E is meant to be.it goes on smoothly and feels creamy and doesnt leave excess grease and my skin feels plump and hydrated. im impressed for a range that starts at $4.95
I love the Priceline Sorboline Cream.
I like their nail polish removers! Have been keen 2 try their face wipes but hesitated in case they bother my sensitive skin.....Now i know they offer refund (which is amazing) I'm keener than ever 2 go try them now. They must be ok if they back the products with refund if they don't meet expectations. Gr8 question Moonlit Dreamer, got me thinking!
Ive used the nail polish remover and facial wipes......
did the job
Cool! I wasn't aware priceline had their own brand stuff! Gonna have a look next time I'm in a store and come back here to report.
I have only used their wipes. The price is great and they did not strip my skin. But I don't use them often because I prefer to cleanse in the traditional way!!! At the end of the day because the prices are quite low you can't loose. If all else fails then re purpose the products to use them up. For example; use the face moisturise as a hand cream or foot cream if it is that bad. Water down a toner that is too stong. If the wipes do not cut it on your face then use them to wipe benches down or around the bathroom sink. Let us know what you try and what you think.
I love the wipes- so cheap and doesnt really affect the sensitive patch of skin on my cheeks...and it has lasted me pretty long as well. I think it's abotu $3.50 or somethin, maybe cheaper
wow their range sounds great!! does it all smell nice? because for me, if something doesnt smell nice, i wont even touch it even if its good lol
I hear you WantingBeauty it has to smell good, lol.
The vitamin e face mask is the only mask I use. My skin feels so soft and it really helps clear all the gunk out of my skin. I've tried the face wipes too and found they worked really well.
I have tried their avocado face mask, that was really nice, left my skin feeling really smooth & clean. It wasn't expensive and has lasted me for so long.
I have been using the Avon Skin so Soft bath oil for years as a once a week treat for myself. It leaves my skin silky for about 2 days without moisturiser.
Gentle Daily Exfoliant is a powder that you mix with water to create a smooth paste.
So I was extremely lucky to recieve this as part of my Best In Beauty prize pack (thanks again BH!! :))
