Olay cleansing brush system

Hey guys! I have had the olay cleansing brush for the past 3 years and I love it. I use it twice daily and it’s really helped my skin. The brush heads need replacing every 3 to 4 months.

So it’s getting time to replace the brush heads now and I can’t find the replacement brush heads online or in store or anywhere!

Do they still make them?
I know they’re still making the brush itself but I haven’t seen the brush heads.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Many thanks!

    Reviving an old thread.

Thanks for the information on this thread ladies and I searched these replacement brushes on Google but found the information on here quite helpful. I picked up these replacement brushes at the Shaver Shop, instore for $14.99. They are Braun but identical to the Olay ones. Both are made in China. I have the Olay pink one that is featured in this thread that Pink Sugar has a photo of and these fit. I did find some Olay ones on ebay in Australia and the seller has 9 boxes left, charging about $23 with free postage.
The shaver shop has 3 types of heads for the Braun, one is exfoliating, one is sensitive and the ones I chose. I took my brush in with me to compare with the Braun in the shop .

You’re welcome BlueBite. My review for this brush has just been published. I loved the brush, but gave it one star because I’ll have to throw it in the bin when my spare brushes run out.

Review is here if anyone’s interested.

What a pain in the ass, why make a product but discontinue the necessary spare part for it? So disappointing.

    BUMP!

I bought this brush & it’s a bloody ripper! After continued troubles obtaining replacement brush heads, I submitted a query at the Olay website.

This is the reply I received (I’ve blacked out my name):

    Hi ██████,

We always love to hear you passion towards our Olay products.

We are sorry this news may disappoint you, Olay Cleansing Brush Refills has been discontinued November last year.

At the moment, there are replacement brush heads for sale on eBay, but when they’re gone, they’re gone! The brush was fantastic! I’m so disappointed. I’ve just submitted my review for this brush. I gave it one star! I hate throwing perfectly functional objects in the bin for land fill.

If you see this brush on sale & are considering making a purchase, I advise you to consider it disposable.

    🙁

That’s good to know. I’ve been seeing so many of these brushes for sale, all prominently displayed. A lot of people are going to buy these & start asking their local shops for the replacement heads in a few months time, so I think the heads will have to start turning up in shops soon.

I happened to see a single pack of replacement heads at Chemist Warehouse so I grabbed it. I looked for more but it was the last box. Now I just need to buy the actual device,

Hey Sugar: did you end up emailing Olay about the scarcity of replacement heads? I was going to pick one up the other day, but I kept umming & aahing. I don’t want to buy one & not be able to get replacement brush heads if they’re being phased out or whatever.

I saw this one for $39 on Sunday at the local store . Lucky for sales.

I had a look at the CW website & the brush was listed, but not the replacement heads. I might try out this brush if the consensus is that it’s pretty good.

Ive had my Olay brush for a couple of years and love it! I recently bought some replacement brush heads off the Chemist Warehouse website, if you sign up for emails they often have free or $2 shipping offers, plus you can choose a few free sample products 🙂
