Neck lines in my 20s!?

Hey everyone!

So i have noticed i have quite deep neck lines on my neck and i’m only in my 20s. I know it is normal to have neck lines young, but i don’t think it’s normal this prominent and deep (there are two across the middle of my neck and at the base).

I want to stop them from getting worse and treating them now. Any product recommendations? or even just what ingredients i should be looking for in products would be helpful too. Preferably something fairly affordable.

Thankyou! 🙂

Necklines? As in the horizontal creases in the neck? Always thought you naturally had them. Then again I’ve always spent a lot of time on computers, phones, and bent over writing or studying. I’ll have to try adding in the rose hip oil and including my neck in my routine.

I’m 32, and just started getting neck lines in the last six months. They seemed to appear overnight! (Here’s to hoping they don’t progress rapidly!!!)

Looking down at my phone is a big problem :/

I’ve been using Rosehip oil the past few months and haven’t noticed much difference yet, though my skin is more smooth and hydrated!

I think what everybody else has said is spot on – Stop looking down / stop the bad posture! … And treat the skin on your neck and chest like the skin on your face when your do your cleansing & moisturising.

I only just stopped neglecting my neck etc AFTER noticing these lines… I wish I’d started taking care of my neck skin in my twenties. I always leave these things too late!!

Never thought about the fact I look down at my phone/computer a reason for neck lines, I honestly thought it was because I pull a lot of faces where I pull my head back into my neck!
I recommend ensuring that your neck becomes part of your face cleanse and moisturise routine if you have an anti ageing moisturiser then that is an extra bonus.

Oh dear! I find I look down at my phone and I feel a crease in the middle of my neck so I need to watch my posture!! Thanks for sharing 🙂

You have to look at why you are getting them, most likely it is postural ie. You sleep on your side or you hunch over again desk all day etc. I was reading an article not long ago saying people are getting chin and neck lines really early because they are always looking down at their phones iPads etc. keeping up with your sunscreen and avoid any possible postural reasons should help a bit.

Welcome to our club (but sorry that you have the same problem) :/ there was a thread about this a while ago and I remembered more than one mentioned rose hip oil helped. I am still experimenting but so far no solution to offer yet.
