Lacura Skincare!!

I have the night cream and it’s AMAZING. I would compare it to Lancome and Clinique products and for a fraction of the price (less than $10) It leaves my skin smooth and plump – not a hint of oilyness or dryness.
They also have a day cream which is great to use in stead of a Primer (foundation base).
They also have Cleansing Milk, Pore Cleanser and Toner.

Here’s an article from the UK.

Has anyone else tried it?

I noticed at Aldi last night that they have dropped the price of Lacura Skin Science Renew Q10 and Lacura Skin Science Revitalise Day Cream, NIght Cream and Serums from $6.99 to $4. That`s really cheap. But I haven`t tried either range to comment.

Prices are also updated on their website.

I bought the Lacura Hyaluronic gel to try. I`ve used it for a few days and I think it`s made my face feel less dry. The gel absorbs well and doesn`t interfere with my moisturiser + sunscreen that I layer on top. I haven`t had to re-apply moisturiser during the day as I have had to do over this dry winter in Sydney. I haven`t used any other products with Hyaluronic acid so I`m not sure how it compares.

For those interested, I can confirm that the ingredients on the current product box are the same as what`s listed on CosDNA here:

I`ve tried the Hydrating Serum and Night cream and both are decent. I don`t think I`d compare them to high end brands, but then definitely stack up against the likes of L`oreal and Olay, but for about a third of the price.

I would love to try their caviar range though – I heard it`s amazing. Unfortunately I missed out last time 🙁

Lacura Caviar range is in today`s special buys for those who have been waiting for it:

My local store had about 30 of each product.

Has anyone tried any products from the Lacura Naturals range? I haven`t been able to find any online reviews, but the range appears to have won the `Product of the Year 2018`

Packaging claims to say that products are fragrance-free, parabens-free, dermatologically tested and made in Australia. Looks promising.

I swear by Lacura for anything. Aldi have really great cheap cosmetics, just steer clear of the shampoo and conditioner.
I especially love Lacura luxury handcream. cheap and really works. I leave it in the car and at work.

My instincts tells me not to buy Lacura products again… Yes it feels great on my skin but my gut feeling is that its no good.. I did some research and found that sodium hydroxide is not too skin friendly and am afraid over time this could eventually damage or destroy my skin in some way.

    When in doubt- do nothing.

So will stick to plant base ingredients only.. cannot go wrong..

Aldi is relatively new in Perth and I have been using the night cream for a few weeks now and I love it. I`ve got the day cream too, and use it for its SPF factor but it`s not as hydrating as the night cream and doesn`t smell as nice.

I`m a little embarrassed to say, but I often use their foundation.

I tried this last night and loved it! There was quite a lot of stock left at the store I visited, so if you`re into AHA products (and don`t have overly sensitive skin) I`d recommend giving it a try.
