IPL for pigmentation and uneven skin tone

I recently went to a dermatologist who was telling me about IPL for pigmentation and to improve the overall condition of my skin. A full face treatment is about $440. I was told there may be some slight swelling the day after treatment. I was thinking about whether to get this done or not. Has anyone had IPL treatment on their face. I’d be interested to hear your experience and whether you would recommend it or not. Did you notice an improvement in your skin after using IPL.

    Is that price for one session? Because that seems very expensive from what I have been quoted. I am yet to make a decision on IPL but I posted a thread about laser that had some helpful IPL comments on it. If you search IPL or laser then narrow the field to forums you should be able to find some info 🙂
