How to prevent comedones?

Thanks ladies! I’ll try book into a skin clinic when I’m in Perth, I’ve heard good things about Paulas Choice so I’ll purchase some of that in the meantime.

Agree with above; but do make sure you go to a skin clinic/derm and they will suggest a treatment for your skin. Nothing better than starting a new skincare routine with a fresh face.

A BHA product would help, something that has 2% salycilic acid (BHA) and you leave on would be best. Paula’s Choice make a great liquid product you use as a toner step. Benzoyl peroxide works well too, but is more irritating. It also bleaches clothes and towels so approach with caution. It’s likely to be very effective for you though, and it’s available at any pharmacy. Topical retionols would also help, but can be irritating as well, so don’t try all these things at once, ouch!
