Flavoured lip balm?

Honestly I don’t know which category this should be under, but it doesn’t seem like make up to me, so I went with skincare.

Anyway, I have an unhealthy relationship with lip balms, lol. I have a couple different ones, and I’m still looking for another.

I am so sick of applying lip balm, then eating and tasting the thick, waxy taste as I eat. The worst perp for me is Maybelline Baby Lips, which, while smells really good, tastes horrible and tastes really thick, so I only apply it if I’m not going to eat in the near future.

The best tasting lip balm I have is EOS Sweet Mint, but I don’t go to Costco a lot, if at all, and tbh I think EOS is quite pricey.

Do you guys have any recommendations for lip balms that actually taste good? I don’t care about the scent (my chapstick smells like stick glue to me, haha), but I care about the taste for the reason mentioned above, and whenever I google it, it ends up listing balms that have nice scent, not taste, so I thought I’d ask here =)

have you tried LA ROCHE-POSAY barrier repairing balm, it’s smooth and last pretty much all day, I work in air conditioning and it works well, but I must say it doesn’t have any taste, but it doesn’t bother me. hopefully this helps

If you have a lip balm that you like the formula of but not the taste you could always melt it then add a drop or two of stevia to it, that way it’d taste good. I’ve done that with balms before and it works really well.

Go to Lush. Their lip scrubs taste so amazing. Although you mainly use that to get rid of dry flaky skin. But they do have several lip balms which also taste nice.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. So sorry I couldn’t reply sooner because I was working nearly the whole week and going out with someone every day, and only just managed to turn on my comp today, and usually I would turn it on everyday, lol.

And I was supposed to only work Monday and Tuesday… =/ was planning on going shopping today but had to work. Oh well…

So far, I’m interested in Purepawpaw, Coconut Revolution, and Nivea, but I’ll google all of your recommendations tomorrow when I have the time to read up on them =)

I was given these by a very lovely Dutch lady on a flight from Amsterdam last year X.Tase lip balm w/lime flavor and one w/tutti frutti flavor made by Marinello Cosmetics, Denmark. I had never heard of it before but found this very interesting snip on Google http://www.cosmeticsandskin.com/companies/marinello.php and thought it might be of interest

Well, I use Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry which smells good and also had nice taste. 😀 You can also use NIVEA Lip Care Pure & Natural Milk & Honey. These both lip balms are good and you can purchase it from Priceline.

You should try Burt’s Bees ultra conditioning lip balm it’s the best. My lips were so dry this winter season after applying this for a week they were smooth. I also, use nude ny nature pawpaw balm as a back up if I run out on Burt’s bees which is good as well.
